As per the images on the internet, India has got its first ever Tesla Model X SUV from the US. The model is created at the automaker’s facility in Freemont, US. The SUV shares its solid foundation with the Model S, while also share a similar design and style. The distinctive thing about Model X is its vertically opening doors, which offer easy entering and exit into the car, apart from what appears spectacle when the doors open and close. The Tesla Model X gets power from two electric motors mounted on each axle. The base model has 259 bhp on the motors, both front, and rear, while power is up rated to 259 bhp at the front and 503 bhp at the back, on the version of the performance. The combined torque yield stands at an amazing 967 Nm. The P75D trim has power limited and can hit 0-100 kmph in 4.9 seconds.
The Model X P100D, does the same in 4.7 seconds. The top speed is electronically limited to 250 kmph. Tesla claims a driving range of 474 km in a single charge with calm driving. The model imported is reportedly the P75D with a range of 381 km. Moreover, the Tesla Model X comes with several techs which include touch screen systems all over, wireless Bluetooth technology and much more. The car also has regular over-the-air updates, LED headlights with corner lights, electric All-Wheel Drive, air suspension with GPS, and the dual trunks. The car also has the famous self-driving feature – Tesla Autopilot, but it is not clear yet, if the Indian owner has availed for the same. A price for Tesla Model X starts at $73,800, rising up to $128,300 (about ₹ 48 lakh to ₹83 lakh) and that depends on the variant.
