SILO THE COMPACT WASHING MACHINE The Size S washing machine, for daily washing of small lots of dirty clothes. Make use of an existing standard size bucket. Solving a personal problem (Nov 2015)

WHO?

WHY?

HOW?

01. Students living in hostels 02. People living in rented apartments

01. Space constraints 02. Avoid recurring laundry costs 03. Avoid piling of dirty clothes

01. Existing bucket or any water holding container 02. Daily cleaning of small lots

MAPPING THE OPPORTUNITY Quick illustrative doodles to explore and understand the scenario to identify potential problem areas and develop ways of efficient washing of clothes.

EXTEND THE USE 01. Laundry Basket 02. Turn Drum 03. Dry Bucket The Rotator can be placed anywhere in the house ready to collect the laundry of the day.

EXTEND THE USE 01. Laundry Basket 02. Turn Drum 03. Dry Bucket Intuitively designed ridges help to create ample turbulence in water even at a low speed of rotation.

- COMPONENTS + BENEFITS The water hold occupies maximum space in any regular washing machine. By using an existing bucket as the water hold, the size “S” has been achieved for the washing device.

CONTROL HUB Electronic control panel houses the wash and dry cycle operations with upto three intensity levels and the on/off toggle and is integrated into an ergonomic handle, serving the dual purpose of operation and portability in a feature.

MOVEMENT OF WATER Graphic perforation on the bucket creates twin-movements in water based on the orientation of spin. Clockwise and Upward movement of water Anti-Clockwise and Downward movement of water

ARCH DIGITAL BATHROOM SCALE Redefining the aesthetic appeal of the existing scales and empowering the weight measuring device to deliver a softer and welcoming user experience. Personal Work (Jan 2017)

VISUAL CLARITY Introducing a design language beyond that of current metallic and bulky analog weighing scales, Arch features a clean minimal outer casing with a lowered inner edge that integrates the skid-less stepping tile.

SWITCH BUTTONS Besides accurately performing it’s primary function of measuring weight in kilograms and pounds, Arch is equipped to measure BMI and switch between the readings of upto four users.

THE ARCH-ITECTURE Along with providing the stepping platform with a more ergonomic and a more sensitive touch, the arch dome provides ample space to accommodate the load cell, thus reducing the overall thickness of the scale.

PROMOTION OF AQUALEARNING IN INDIA Imagine and design innovative ways to learn swimming and promote the brand through aqualearning in India respecting the spirit and values of Nabaiji. Team Project (Team Lead): 4 months (Feb 2015)

Promote the brand through swimming

Steps involved in learning to swim

Indian Teenagers and their approaches

LEARNING MADE EASY

FUN & LEARN

GROW WITH LEARNING

Give them incentives and motivation, not a “push”

Encourage fun ways to learn through group activities and guidance

Master underwater swimming to complete all the steps of swimming

Rapid idea generation and physically creating them simultaneously. A parallel process of ideation.

MAKE, TEST, ITERATE REPEAT

ZIGTAG THE EASY PIN-UP BOARD Redesigning the existing soft board and redefining the way we pin-up our memories and reminders, to provide a seamless and an easier set-up and usage. Personal Work (Nov 2016)

PINNED-UP MEMORY We pin-up our memory on the wall. Reminders, To-do lists, photographs, posters are a tangible form of our memory pinned up on bulletin boards or pin-up boards.

MEMORISING IS LIKE MAGIC So why does the tangible form of our memory, its set up and use, have to be shabby, static and heavy, as it is today?

STRUCTURE SMART ZigTag challenges the conventional way of tagging, by modifying the existing structure of the pin-up board. A shift in the conventional structural constraints makes the new pin-up board truly functional and light in use.

MODIFIED MOUNTING Zigtag’s zigzag structure lets up setup your own board without the use of professional help and process. The light structure which is the most basic form of origami, lets you extend and customise your space.

FORM IS THE FUNCTION 01. Crest provides space for the pin 02. Trough provides support against the wall while pinning

BESPOKE CATEGORIES Work Memories Reminders

Play

Urgent For Later

The dynamic play of lines created by the form itself, lets you organise your board in different ways and to segregate pins into different categories as you want.

ADAPTATION OF WEARABLE TECH Wearable Technology as means of physical guidance and mental support for restoring Full Range of motion and function during post-ACL surgery recovery User Journey + Concept (Sep 2015)

INSIGHT BOOKLETS

UNDERSTANDING THE ACL INJURY Breaking an ACL injury scenario into four scenarios chronologically, followed by investigating each part through on-field user survey and online research. 01. The Activity 02. Injury (ACL tear) 03. Surgery (Ligament replacement) 04. Recovery (Bed-rest + Physiotherapy)

RECO 01. Sense Motion 02. Sense Stress 03. Guide Naturally

RECORDING THE ACTIVITY Medical-grade Motion Sensors map the movement of the leg, angle of flexion and swing for every activity the you perform through method of Triangulation. Range of Motion / Angle of Swing

ACTIVE STRESS MONITORING

PAIN LOOKOUT

Stress arising is continuously compared to the stress in an ACL recovering ideally, performing the same activity.

DISTINCT FEEDBACKS

Measured Stress

Ideal Stress

Ideal Stress Measured Stress

01. Caution Zone Indication for the user to control his activity to avoid a relapse

02. Safe Zone Subtle feedback to encourage user to push his efforts for a speedy recovery

LIKE A PHYSIO, MORE THAN A TRAINER

Adapting the working principle of RECO to similar conditions in different activities, has potential to open a vast array of possibilities in the field of recovery and rehabilitation.

LEARNING THROUGH COLLABORATIONS Growing everyday and evolving through co-working and interaction with professionals from various fields and by working in the professional environment. Masterclasses, Workshops, Internships
