Sukarya

Formed in 1998, Sukarya, is a non-governmental organization working on issues of Maternal and Child Health, Primary Health Care and Economic Empowerment of Women in Delhi and Haryana. Registered in 2001, the focus of our work is primarily to improve the health of rural and urban poor, especially women, adolescents and children. The vision of Sukarya is health for all - 'Behtar Swasthya Behtar Samaj'; a society where the fundamental development needs including health, of its citizens are adequately met. We envision a society where citizens enjoy holistic health and well-being and they can as healthy and productive citizens contribute actively to the development of their communities. The mission of Sukarya is to ensure equitable access to quality health services for all including the poorest sections of the society, especially women, adolescents and children.
