A detailed discussion on how each particular supplement can impact your calf. - Managing fatigue, appetite and freshness on the show road. - Peaking your hair quality at targeted show date. - Maximum neck sweating potential achieved. - Stimulating hair follicles with proper equipment and tools.
Good Hope, Illinois How did you hear about Stock Show University? My Grandpa Hoge works at BHE so he brought me to learn how to fit cattle. He knew I would learn a lot. Would you attend another SSU clinic? Definitely I would love too, my first experience was amazing. What did you like about working with your professor? The way they work with you and explain things. What was one thing that you learned from your professor? That you will get better the more you do it.
Carter Hoge with Professor Cori Malone.
What did you like the best about the Stock Show University Program? That you got to be hands on while learning how to fit. You get the opportunity to apply what you learned, you get to actually do it and see how it works instead of being told how to do it. What are your proudest accomplishments in the show ring? I have had many good memories in the ring but my favorite is this year at Illinois Beef Expo. I had four in the grand drive and got grand champion breeding heifer.

Rhett Lowderman after winning Grand Champion Bred and Owned Female at the 2016 JNHE
How did you hear about Stock Show University? Flyers at cattle shows, Internet, and people telling me about it. What did you like about working with your professor? He knew what he was talking about and he could teach almost anyone how to fit an animal. What was one thing that you learned from your professor? How much hair you want to clip off of the legs and loin.
Dan Sullivan, Co-Owner Sullivan Supply South
What did you like the best about the Stock Show University Program? I got to fit a heifer on my own. Do you have any words of encouragement for kids to attend a Stock Show University clinic? If you have not ever fitted on cattle, then you should go to this and even if you have fitted cattle, practice wouldn’t hurt. What are your proudest accomplishments in the show ring? Winning The Junior Division of Showmanship at the JNHE ‘14 and ‘16 Champion Bred and Owned Heifer at JNHE. Professor Shout Out: Shout out to Josh Elder for teaching me how to fit and clip a heifer. Callyn Hahn, Dean of Stock Show U
Biotin, is a tremendous vitamin for HAIR GROWTH.The major benefit of Biotin is its ability to strengthen both the hair follicle and hair shaft, along with increased elasticity of the cortex to prevent hair breakage and dryness. This enables healthy, FASTER HAIR GROWTH.
Pro-Vitamin B-5, is the king of all HAIR CARE vitamins. It stimulates healthy scalp circulation which leads to improved hair health. As an added benefit, it also possesses superior long term moisturizing properties because of its unique ability to penetrate and nourish the hair shaft; then sealing the surface to protect and make the hair shine.
Vitamin E, is an antioxidant that stimulates circulation throughout the skin and supports capillary growth. When there are more capillaries, the circulation improves leading to increased nutrient absorption into the hair follicles, which speeds hair growth.
