The Design concepts are now triggering in not only in Fashion but also in other proeucts The programme has matured through the years and is the most popular degree course in Fashion for those who qualify for University entry after sitting for GCE A Levels. This course was established under a consultancy from the London College of Fashion of the University of the Arts, London who are world leaders in Fashion Design education. Because of this high quality start, very high levels are maintained in the programme. The programme mainly produced the essential human resources to the apparel export industry to support their upward mobility. This programme provides an opening to unleash the potential of the talented students that come from all parts of Sri Lanka to create new and innovative designs. This will pave the way for a few entrepreneurs to set up small businesses if they can Design and Manufacture to satisfy the customer. Fashion involves all products and accessories in an outfit. The course currently has two streams of Fashion and Textiles, but in the future, we hope to incorporate Design of some of the essential additions worn by Fashion Consumer.
