We had a great server and the food was excellent. We had the bacon wrapped scallops, grilled mahi and broiled shrimp. The grilled mahi and scallops were out of this world! The cheddar grits are definitely a must! So creamy!

@245kristies

We ordered the shrimp platter and scallop platter with baked potato and house salad. Our food was very good.

@ricalabur

Staple Since 1930

The quaint building has been a Myrtle Beach staple since 1930. The structure has always been a provider of true southern hospitality starting as a group home, inn, and now restaurant. The restaurant has deep roots in tradition and comfort, and each guest is treated like family from the moment you walk through the door.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed a fabulous lunch of bang-bang shrimp, a club sandwich, and their famous hush puppies.

@Tinysteiny75

I will dream about these hush puppies for the rest of the year.

Loved the margaritas and crab cakes. And the story of the restaurant is quaint.

@hripackard

Every time we go the service is excellent and the food is prepared just right. Ordered the Grouper and it was seasoned and cooked with knowledge. The scallops were perfect (and decent sized). Great salads, and the hush puppies are as good as anybody’s. They also have a well stocked bar.

We went for the pasta buffet but we all ended up getting steaks. They were fantastic. We also loved the blue cheese garlic butter topping. It was definitely our favorite meal in MB!

@AutumnE2011

We loved our first experience at Angelo’s. Our filet was cooked perfectly. The Italian green beans were a first for me and I LOVED them. Our server was great. Definitely will go back next time we are at the beach!

@mburton1217

My husband ordered steak and said it was cooked perfect. I ordered the buffet and as always, it was wonderful. I love the tortellini and have yet to find a restaurant that makes it better than Angelo’s. The stuffed shells are amazing also. I can’t wait to return.

@KarenT487

My husband and I love Angelo’s Steaks! They are so good, I can’t even find a word to describe it.

@MalissaRReed

Never disappointed! This time I ordered the big steak and it was very tasty, along with the buffet. Can’t wait to come visit again.

@935wadec

Everything we ordered was delicious. Oysters were fresh. Flounder, shrimp, and scallops were clearly fresh and grilled to perfection. Service was quick and friendly. Great atmosphere. Beautiful view of the inlet.

@yswader View Menu Here

I ordered the grilled Fisherman’s platter with flounder, shrimp and scallops. All were delicious but that grilled Flounder was so tasty.

@KellyH

The food and drinks were A+ and the view was perfect. We had the daily fish sandwich special and the Oyster Po Boy.

@BoardingPass?126

Fantastic appetizer — instead of tortilla chips, the base is fried wonton crisps, topped with Mexican-style white cheese sauce, chopped tomatoes and mangoes, scallions, and topped off with guacamole. We enjoyed it so much, we went back a second time. Large portion — took some home each visit!

@proterrab

The burgers I had there were probably the best I have had in my life. If you are visiting the Myrtle Beach area, you do not want to miss Strong Waters! I recommend both the Truffle Burger and Butcher Block Burger. The Sea Bass Tacos and Pork Belly Tacos were excellent as well.

My friend and I came in for a drink and stayed for several. Travis the bartender/mixologist was excellent at making our drinks. We also ordered the wings, broccoli fries and truffle fries, all of which were very good. A must to have a drink or meet.

@LorieC

From the shrimp dip and charcuterie platter, to the filet, short ribs, scallops, and everything, the food was incredible.
