CAMP CONNECT: WEAVING TOGETHER SCIENCE, NATURE & ART Teens 3 to 7: Join us for four jampacked days of wild exploration. Activities include working with a Metro Parks biologist to conduct surveys and monitor water quality, archery, outdoor exploration, nature art, journaling and more. Cost is $60/participant. FOSSILS FOR KIDS

Celebrate purple martins, the birds that are aerial acrobats and insect-eaters! All participants are welcome to feed scrambled eggs to the martins and watch the banding of babies with the Portage Lakes Purple Martin Association. Portage Lakes State Park/State Mill

This small 0-acre lake, with its uniquely clear water, offers a beautiful glimpse into the world below. Minimum age is 3; ages 3 to 7 must be with an adult. Space is limited. LP/Tinkers
