Ten tent sites are also spread out around the Kager Lake trail, offering hike or bike in sites with raised tent platforms and picnic tables and fire rings. Centrally located outhouse facilities between sites are available. A short walk down to the lake from the RV sites is a lake side sundeck and dock for swimming or sunbathing. Kager Lake is stocked with Brook trout and Rainbow trout, with canoe and small boat launch for easy access for fishing and boating.

Sueeeee-t – 1.5 km Type: Cross Country
Sueeeee-t is another trail that starts at the bike park parking lot, climbs the park hill and links with Curly Tail, Kager Connector or Pork Grind. Cruising area on top of the hill with switchbacks on either side of the hill gives some technical and some easier sections. This trail is a good mixture of beginner sections and short intermediate sections, a great progression XC trail.
Pork Grind – 1.2 km
12
Type: Cross Country

When Pigs Fly – 5.3km
When Pigs Fly is the 5km jump trail by Gravity Logic. This trail is everything you’ve come to expect from Gravity Logic of Whistler Bike Park fame.
Water Lew Boardwalk Trail – 0.8 km
Water Lew is an astonishingly uninterrupted boardwalk trail, leading out from connections from Charlotte’s, Full Boar and Shawn Flow trails to a breathtaking view of the valley. There is a viewing platform at the viewpoint at the end of Water Lew, where future trail plans include an intermediate trail connecting When Pigs Fly, and another black diamond trail leading back to Full Boar.
BTweaked – 0.7 km
BTweaked is the brain child of Blaine Taylor who was working for Gravity Logic while in Burns Lake. Pumping goodness with berms and small jumps, BTweaked is reminiscent of trails like Karate Monkey or Samarai Pizza Cat on the Whistler Bike Park. Fun and flowy this trail offers a continuation from When Pigs Fly, and a short loop for campers riding up the Runt trail and down BTweaked.
Come one, come all!!! It doesn’t matter how old you are, what your style of riding is, or how serious you are about mountain biking. The Big Pig is a friendly fun weekend of fat tire festivities. Each year during the third weekend of August the Big Pig begins with Friday night kids events, and shuttle rides on Boer Mtn. Saturday is adrenaline day starting with the downhill race followed by the jump jam and rider cross races. Sunday is all about cross country with a FUN relay style event, and of course the progressively longer Dante’s Inferno race. For more information on the Big Pig Bike Festival go to www. burnslaketrails.ca

Long Lake Trail – 3.9 km
The Long Lake Trail is the return line from the end of Long Lake via Stearns Creek Canyon, before the final commitment of taking Stearns Creek up the rest of the climb to the top of Boer Mtn. Somewhat rugged surface and narrow single track, Long Lake is a flat profile but technical riding for cross country riders wanting to return back to Kager Lake. There is also a marked canoe portage from Kager and Long Lakes following the Long Lake trail.
7
Shawn’s Flow – 0.6 km
Shawn’s Flow, the namesake of local machine operator (and trail sculpting genius) Shawn O’Meara, is now complete. As the name suggests, this trail has flow, in ample supply. The layout and much of the packing and finishing work was done with BLMBA volunteer efforts, but the funding required to pay for materials and machine time was donated by the generosity of the Nechako-Kitimaat Development Fund Society (NKDF).

8 Full Boar – 3.7 km
If old school steep lines with rock and roots, with a smattering of ladder bridge stunts is your thing, Full Boar is a trail for you. Not for the faint of heart, upper FB is technical and hard on suspension and brake pads, lower sections are flowy and fast single track. The oldest trail on Boer Mtn, FB connects with Shawn’s Flow, Charlotte’s on upper Boer, then with Long Haired Hippy on Lower Boer.

The Virge - Another of Will Roberts creations, the Virge rips down from the quad trail off the Long Haired Hippy and enters into a gully that the trail undulates from one side of the gulley to the other with some mandatory log rides and small jumps without ride arounds, then merges into Full Boarleading back to Kager Lake.
10 Long Haired Hippy Built by local long hair Will Roberts, the hippy is a fast tight single track line off lower Full Boar, providing a link to The Virge or Charlotte’s from the quad ATV trail.
9 The Runt A short beginner friendly climb to the top of BTweaked gives campers an option for quick laps up and down both trails.
10 All the way home – 0.6 km All The Way Home is the collection trail from Charlotte’s Web, and When Pigs Fly after BTweaked that leads back to Kager Lake and the shuttles. A short fast sprint, this is also the final section of the DH race at The Big Pig Bike Fest.
11 Kager Lake Trail – 2.9 km An incredibly popular beginner trail with a great lake views and access to trailside tent sites. An easy trail for the whole family to enjoy, including the little rippers in your group.

14 Stearns Creek Trail
An epic back country climb to the top of Boer Mtn, Stearns Creek Canyon is a trail to behold. Phase one to end of Long Lake completed in 2011. Phase two, the climb up the canyon itself will be completed in 2012, and Phase three up Tintagel Ridge to Boer Mtn Summit for 2013. Viewpoints, waterfalls, clifftop vistas litter the route from start to finish. Unknown Photo

6
Pork-U-Pine – 668 m. Type: Cross Country
This trail connects the top of the 4 Cross and freeride trails on the bike park, to Learn From Experience. It also parrallels Pork N Beans, and offers the more surfaced trail option over the Pork N Beans natural surface. Flowy turns through pine trees, occasional rock gardens, this trail is a great hybrid of XC climb or beginner downhill, depending on direction.
7
Learn From Experience – 778 m. Type: Cross Country
As the name suggests, LFE was a learning experience in discovering how much faster and better a trail can be constructed with a mini excavator over hand tools. The learning experience continues as a beginner trail that introduces berms and small rock gardens to beginner riders. This trail begins at the bike park parking area, skirts around the skills park and flozone, then connects with Porkupine leading up above the 4 Cross.
Flozone / Dirt Jump Flozone is the newest feature on the Bike Park. Intended for dirt jumpers, the Flozone includes nicely cut lines of trail feeding in and out of a dirt ‘pool’, kidney shaped and packed as hard as a skatepark bowl. The Flozone feeds into existing drop/jump lines and through the Rotary Skills Park. Unique in design, dirt jumpers will have plenty of options from line to line.
