In the agricultural era, the Daoshui River nurtured cities, and cities lived in the countryside, receiving nourishment from the land.

Guilin has a subtropical monsoon climate, with special karst landforms and seasonal rainy seasons alternating between water and drought. The design introduces the concept of pond, which is a small and micro wetland. With the process of urbanization, a large number of gray infrastructure underground pipelines have emerged for drainage. The thousand acre lotus pond relies on its natural advantages to effectively regulate and store water. Pitang is a natural green infrastructure that replaces gray infrastructure to create an ecological land improvement park. At the same time, Pitang has also achieved ecological restoration and can drive the tourism development of Xiufeng District. The introduction of emerging industries in village planning can effectively convey the significance of protecting traditional culture and natural resources.
