About the project _______________________________________________________________ Business opportunities are undergoing a significant change today. Permanent contract jobs are gradually decreasing and mostly concentrated in public employment and large companies. However, in Mediterranean countries, most companies are SMEs. One way to combat unemployment, especially among young people, is to think about entrepreneurs and start their own business; however, almost no school prepares them for this. Many rural communities are socially and politically marginalized, and in many areas the population is strongly aging and impoverished due to migration. The 18/12/2018 EU Council Report states that socioeconomic exclusion and democratic exclusion go hand in hand, and young people struggling with disadvantages are generally less active citizens. Socioeconomic indicators indicate that rural residents have an average of 40% lower income than urban residents, and benefit from low services and basic infrastructures; show that they have limited professional and cultural opportunities and live in older communities. These factors make European campaigns less attractive for young people with labor shortages. The needs of the youth handled in the project:  They need a job that gives them a good standard of living  They want to improve their basic skills and improve their low quality of life to enter the labor market Project; Start Date: 01-01-2020 End Date: 31-07-2020 Objectives_____________________________________________________________________ The purpose of the "Young SME" project is to develop entrepreneurship skills to prevent marginalization of rural youth.          

Our goals during the project: 42 young participants aged 15-24 (except 7 youth leaders); Strengthen their active citizenship by developing entrepreneurship skills Providing better opportunities for access to employment, reducing the effects of social exclusion To ensure that their ideas understand the risks, challenges, potentials and impacts of rural society Encouraging young people to see entrepreneurship as one of the study options Creating 7 sustainable business ideas Providing a space for intercultural integration; promoting a culture of dialogue, tolerance and a better understanding To offer the opportunity to communicate in English in a foreign language Promoting youth mobility at the European level
