Created by the Palmer Course Design Company, Prospector is 18 holes of gorgeous mountain golf, with rolling, well-bunkered fairways, fast greens, numerous water features and plenty of risk/reward challenges for golfers of all abilities.

While this beautiful Jacobsen Hardy course tests experienced golfers with more than 7,300 yards of classic mountain golf from the tips, it is also a family friendly course with a set of youth tees on every hole making Rope Rider a great option to play some golf with the kids. ROPE RIDER GOLF PARK The Rope Rider Golf Park, which sits adjacent to the Swiftwater Cellars Winery is our free short game practice area. It has three bunkered greens to hit to from six separate tee boxes. It is a great place to work on your short game or to just get a few swings in with friends and family.

MASTER ROPE RIDER CHALLENGE

GOLF WITH YOUR TRIBE

Inspired by the Golf Channel’s Big Break Series. Master Rope Rider is a skills challenge at the Rope Rider Golf Park. The rope rider worked in the coal mines in Roslyn, Cle Elum, and Ronald, Washington and they did the most dangerous work in the mines - balancing on the hitches between coal cars as they maneuvered through dark tunnels. Once the coal cars were full, the rope rider would return to the surface while maintaining the balancing act on the coal cars. In honor of these hard working individuals and masters of their skills, take your turn at the Master Rope Rider Golf Challenge to prove who is the modern day Rope Rider. Master Rope Rider is the perfect golf experience for smaller group outings or special events. Skills include “Over the Wall Lob Shot”, mid-to-long putts, short chip, bunker shot, player’s choice and in the basket chip/pitch shots. Select up to six challenges for your group.

Enjoy quality family time with a round of golf in the majestic setting of the Cascade Mountains. Daily after 3pm, juniors (age 16 and younger) can enjoy complimentary golf when accompanied by a paying adult on Rope Rider or Prospector.

The 10 mile scenic rafting trip has a few good river rapids and will be the activity highlight of your Suncadia visit. Trips include an amazing, stream-side grilled sockeye salmon lunch complete with appetizers, Caesar salad, several side dishes, dessert, and beverages. Consider a morning trip and have our omelet bar breakfast on the river or raft a little later in the day and have dinner. Great for all ages and various group sizes.

The best way to experience fly fishing is from a drift boat on the river. The Yakima River is Washington’s only Blue Ribbon trout stream for rainbow and west slope cutthroat trout, and we have full and half-day guided trips available for those of all experience levels. Trips include gear, fly fishing supplies, lunch (full-day trips), and beverages. A fishing license is necessary and can be included, each drift boat can accommodate up to two anglers. • Full-day: $475 for 1 or 2 people, approx. 8 hours. • Half-day: $375 for 1 or 2 people, approx. 4-5 hours.

WALK & WADE - GUIDED FLY FISHING Fly fish the local trout streams on foot with one of our expert guides, this is very much an introduction to the great sport of fly fishing. Your guide will provide instruction on casting, fishing techniques, entomology, fly patterns, and reading water.
