Suncadia celebrates a variety of seasonal and annual events and would like to include your food truck. Events feature an assortment of food, breweries, live entertainment, and activities for all ages.

VENDOR FEES: • Kite Festival at the Nelson Farm

July 5, 2-7pm & July 6, 12-7pm - $100 (both days)

• Art, Walk & Wine at the Village Amphitheater • Harvest Festival at Nelson Farm

May 25, 10am-4pm - $50

Aug. 24, 3-7pm - $50

Oct 5-6 & 12-13, 10am-5pm - $100 per weekend

• Backyard BBQ at the Nelson Farm Pool

PLEASE NOTE: − An attendant must remain in your booth at all times during the event. − The Resort Events Manager must be informed of any and all electricity requirements. Please email Camie Stevenson at events@suncadia.com. − All events are rain or shine. − PAYMENT: Checks Must be made out to SFCE. − POWER NEEDS: All vendors must be self-sufficient as the resort has limited power based on each location. − All power needs must be communicated to the Resort Events Manager so individual needs can be assessed. Please call: 509-649-6448 MENU: Truck keeps all food and beverage revenue. No alcoholic beverages may be sold. We highly recommend that each vendor provide a “taste” sampler (priced no more than $5 per serving), this allows the public the chance to try more food - which in turns gives each and every one of you more business. INSURANCE: Each participating food truck must provide a certificate of insurance naming Suncadia Resort as additionally insured. The insurance certificate must be in the amount of $1 million and should have the following address listed on it: Suncadia Resort 3600 Suncadia Trail Cle Elum, Wa 98922 HEALTH DEPARTMENT PERMITS: It is the vendor’s responsibility to acquire all needed County and State permits. Suncadia will be happy to assist you with the process. A Temporary Food Permit will be needed for Food Vendors; these can be purchased at the Kittitas County Health Department or by calling 509-962-7515. Any vendor found out of compliance with these permits/regulations on the day of the event will not be allowed to vend and will forfeit all fees paid to Suncadia Resort. A copy of the temporary food permit will be required prior to your on-site arrival. FIRE PERMITS/EXTINGUISHERS: Suncadia requires the following: • Trucks using propane must have a fire extinguisher with a minimum UL classification of 2A4 0BC. Trucks that require deep frying food preparation must also have an additional fire extinguisher that has a minimum UL classification of 2A “K”. • The inspection tags for each food truck’s hood suppression system needs to be current. • Generators and fuels are not allowed off the trucks. Any generators/fuels/appliances that are used need to be a part of the normal set up ON the food truck. LOAD IN / LOAD OUT: Specific load in/load out procedures will differ between each type of event, but all details will be communicated to each vendor prior to their event. Vendors must be set up and ready to serve food one-hour prior to the event start time. In order to ensure a safe exit of participants and food trucks, vendors will not be allowed to pack up and leave until the event has concluded. Mobile Food vendors must wait until the public has cleared from the event area before leaving. POWER NEEDS: All vendors must be self-sufficient. Suncadia is not able to provide access to utilities. SPACE ASSIGNMENTS: Locations will be determined after all applications are recieved. Considerations will be based on competing food categories and time of application submission. GROUND SURFACE & WEATHER: Suncadia’s outdoor events utilize a unpaved field for setup. There may be some areas in the field that are not level so please bring truck levels just in case. If you plan on putting a tent up please ensure 25lbs. on each leg for safety, in case of windy weather. Tents used for cooking purposes must be fire retardant with an inspection sticker present. Our events will take place rain or shine, so please be prepared for both. TRASH/GARBAGE: It is each vendor’s responsibility to remove all event related trash from their area, including items inside your truck. Suncadia will be responsible for providing garbage cans around the “specified” eating areas only.
