FAQs
DO YOU REQUIRE A WEDDING PLANNER?
A professional Wedding Planner is required to be hired to help assist you with your special day. This planner must begin their planning process with you at least 2 months prior to the event date at minimum.
Suncadia will provide you with an Event Planning Manager who will assist you with setup, food and beverage details.
HOW MUCH WILL MY SUNCADIA WEDDING COST?
For a wedding at Suncadia, you can expect to spend around $250–$300 per person, which includes taxes and fees. This pricing covers catering, venue rental, and various services to ensure a memorable event. For a detailed estimate tailored to your specific needs, it's best to consult with your sales manager.
HOW DO I RESERVE A DATE?
The first step in securing a date is to schedule a call to talk through your wedding vision. Once we discuss your event, we invite you onsite for a tour of the property.
Once you have decided to move forward, your Sales Manager will provide you with a contract. This will outline the timing of all events as well as your room block.
Once the contract is signed, you will be introduced to your on-site event planning manager and group rooms manager. Your next step is to schedule a wedding tasting, which you can schedule with your catering manager. It is a great idea to invite your wedding planner along with you. We provide this tasting complimentary for up to four people, but we can certainly accommodate more for a small per person fee.
Your payment plan is as follows: Deposit is due at the time of contracting, 25% of contracted food and beverage minimum and venue fee. Followed by a payment plan leading up to your wedding date. Final full prepayment due in full 30 days before your event.
DO YOU ALLOW OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGE?
Suncadia is the sole purveyor for all food and beverage for on-site events with the exception of wedding cakes. Our culinary team provides an extensive selection of menus to satisfy any taste and we are happy to provide special accommodations to guests with dietary considerations. Please be aware that our menu items and pricing are subject to change and your final expenditure will depend on your final guest attendance, menu selection and food and beverage financial commitment.
DO YOU REQUIRE US TO USE SPECIFIC VENDORS?
We are pleased to provide an extensive list of the finest special event professionals in the area. Although it is not required to book a preferred vendor, we highly recommend working with these professional as these individuals have provided impeccable service and products to our guests in the past.

DO YOU PROVIDE BACKUP PLANS FOR OUTDOOR VENUES
We do provide one indoor weather back up space for any wedding events outside in case of weather changes. If you have both the ceremony and reception outside the back-up space will be for both events. Decision must be made 24 hours prior to the event start time. There is no additional fee for moving your event before this deadline.
DO YOU PROVIDE ACCOMMODATIONS FOR OUR GUESTS?
Yes, Suncadia Resort provides discounted room blocks as part of you contract. This allows for special rates for your guests during their stay and to complete your perfect wedding package.
DO YOU REQUIRE WEDDING INSURANCE?
We require that you carry a million-dollar insurance policy naming us additionally insured for your big day.
WHEN CAN WE ACCESS THE SITE FOR SET UP?
2 hours prior to the start time of your special day, your event planning manager will assist with any specific needs.
DO YOU HAVE ANY NOISE RESTRICTIONS?
Outdoor music and noise at events must cease at 10:00 PM due to community regulations. But we do have some wonderful options for after parties.
DETAILS ABOUT TRANSPORTATION, HOW CAN MY GUESTS EASILY GET TO THE RESORT?
Guests can easily access Suncadia Resort, located just 90 miles from Sea-Tac Airport. The airport offers shuttle services for convenient transportation, and ride-sharing options are also readily available. This makes it simple for guests to reach the resort and start enjoying the weekend festivities.
DO YOU HAVE ANY DECORATION RESTRICTIONS?
Confetti cannons, all forms of glitter, smoke/fog machines and similar appliances are not permitted. Open flame in outdoor and indoor venues is not permitted due to our beautiful location.
WHAT ABOUT MY DOG, CAN HE COME?
We love dogs! We have a select number of pet-friendly rooms and homes. Please note, pet-friendly rooms carry a $75 non-refundable pet fee per night, and the pet-friendly homes carry a $150 non-refundable pet fee per night
