he PFDC has definitely upped their ante this time by making the entire event a well handled welcoming a stellar line up of celebrities and stars at the fashion show. The fashion affair was held at the Expo Centre Lahore. The energy was electric amongst the crowd which was welcomed by various activities around the designer stalls. The most appealing was the “Make my Magnum Bar” which attracted a lot of people where one could customize their magnum by choosing a wide array of scrumptious options to make a delicious bar. Another surprising element to the event was the title sponsor Sunsilk unveiling fashion editions of their bottles each day. Each day a Sunsilk collectible shampoo bottle was launched by Maria B, HSY, Maheen Kardar (Karma) and Shamoon Sultan (Khaadi). The sprightly activities served as a welcome distraction to the event starting late, which was a sacred tradition being kept alive since ages. But all was forgiven once the glitz and glamour all started and the ramp sparkled with charming models and ravishing clothes. The ambience of the event was all buzzed up with the energy on the ramp and the anticipation in the audience. The décor was kept simple or maybe just a bit too simple for the event. However the energy on the ramp brought life to the event. An interesting feature of the event was Zong and Big Excess welcoming and promoting new talent by giving them a chance at the PFDC platform The entire event management was done by Lotus events and PR. The foreign media was handled by Latitude. The teams at Nabila, Toni & Guy, Maram & Aabroo and Khawar Riaz were the stylists for PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013. Show production and choreography was done by HSY Events. Maheen Kardar Ali was at front stage management and Maria B at backstage management. . Sara Shahid of sublime was the official spokesperson for PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013 PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week 2013’s started with full throttle with the showcasing of voile shows. the collections showcased were that of Chen One , Kayseria and Sitara textile, Ittehad Textiles, Sitara Textiles, Moon textile, Lala Textiles, Lakhany Silk Mills, Shariq Textiles, Nimsay Redefining Style by Nimra Textile, Firdous Textiles, MK Nation by Karma, Kayseria Prèt, COCO and Adnan Pardesy for The Working Woman.
