LOCK HAVEN — Powers Health Center is a family strong business with goals of improving lives for the better.

Powers Health Center is comprised of both chiropractic and dental offices.

Powers Chiropractic is operated of Dr. Richard Powers III, Dr. Andi Luke and Dr. Micah Powers. They focus on treating anything muscular-skeletal related, whether itás sprains, strains and post-surgical operations for increase healing potential. Powers Chiropractic also specializes in anything related from spinal degeneration to degeneration in the knee and a majority of arthritic conditions. They hit the typical chiropractic adjustments and alignments hard.

Powers Chiropractic conducts acoustic wave therapy for post-surgical scar tissue breakup and calcium deposition within tissues to trigger points within the muscular tissues for treatment. They also have laser therapy for increased healing potential within tissues for acute injury, chronic injury, post-surgical operation, increase in blood flow, increase in the functionality of the cells within to increase healing potential. Powers also offers spinal decompression ä whether itás for the neck, discus issues, causing nerve irritation and/or lumbar decompression of the low back ä and knee decompression for degeneration.

On the dentistry side of Powers Health, Dr. Richard Powers II has been practicing dentistry for 35 years. The dentistry prides themselves on same day service for pain and any issues of that kind and are accommodating for scheduling.

The dental offices specializes in pretty much all basis of dentistry with recent additions of implants such as to help stabilize denture and molar extraction. They have well qualified hygenists on staff to help treat children, elderly and anybody that is challenged physically; with accommodations.

The dental offices do some of the surgical extractions for patients, however, they refer out for any of the root canal or advance surgery. Nitrous oxide and oral sedation are provided for necessary operations.

Both of the Powers chiropractic and dental health sections work closely together with head and neck pain. They have a close relationship with Geisinger regarding head and neck cancer treatment patients and joint surgery for temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ).
