With a 15,000 square feet indoor showroom space, the family owned and operated business at 6547 Nittany Valley Drive showcases nothing but the best in the equipment and powersports industry. The company proudly employs around 25 individuals who specialize in the industry and have more than 100 years combined experience.
Dotterer Equipment was first established by the Dotterer Family in 1952 and was later purchased by Karl Walizer and family in 1986. From there, the family grew the business expanding their product offerings and customer service. Today three generations are actively working in the business.
Dotterer’s director of customer relations, Michael Frank, told the Express that “the team at Dotterer Equipment Inc. are dedicated to providing all customers with exceptional sales, parts and service support regardless of product brands. We are proud to put our 71 years of expertise and experience to work for you. Getting your equipment needs taken care of in a timely and affordable manner is our highest priority.”

Dotterer carries Kubota, Honda Powersports, Suzuki, Snapper, Steiner, Simplicity, Stihl, Crown Royal Stoves and many other smaller brands.
Recently Dotterer Equipment added the product lines of DR Power equipment, Mean Green Battery Mowers and Generac.
“We are always looking for ways to offer our customers top quality product lines. With the addition of these lines we offer home generators, handheld power equipment and now top grade commercial zero turn mowers.”
Everything from ATVs, motorcycles, small riding mowers all the way to 170hp-plus tractors can be seen. Dotterer Equipment proudly offers a full line up of genuine accessories for all lines they carry. And if they don’t have it, they can usually get it for you.
With warm weather upon us, Dotterer’s is gearing up for spring with service specials and will be announcing some special spring sales and our Kubota Field Event Open House on April 14 and 15 — more details will be released soon.
