Sustainability

INTRODUCTION “We know that sustainable management is a growing and pressing need in the way we think, we do, we produce we market, and we learn. In order to better measure the impact of what we do in this space, we have organized a Sustainability Reporting Team to consolidate and coordinate our progress from across our value chain and business systems towards the commitment to making our group one that not only offers value for money, quality products but one that invests in human, social, and environmental sustainability as well. We want to set a good example for our hospitality clients, with inspiring and affordable choices within the limits of the planet.

Our team is our strength. PEOPLE FIRST.

We call it ‘the happiness factor.’ We believe that a strong and sustainable company begins with its people. We have a multicultural workforce across Asia. We provide opportunities to improve skills through monthly in-house trainings, free English lessons, and offering the flexibility of working remotely

Sustainability

Our products are made to last long. PARADISE & PLANET-FRIENDLY. We focus on circular design principles and services. We design new products to be repurposed, repaired, reused, resold or recycled. This year, we have transitioned 100% of our sunbuns filling into upcycled polychunks and have done away with polystyrene beads. Another key ingredient in our sustainability story is our promise that wherever possible, we replace and take back goods which are damaged to be repaired. This extends the life cycle of any product. Through our Cushion Cover Program (CCP), we replace old covers with new ones and upcycle old fabrics from these covers into accessories (bags, patchwork cushion, etc).

Our partners are equally committed. CONCIOUSLY MADE.

We have a growing portfolio of technology-driven, sustainable, and innovative products such as FSC-certified eucalyptus wood, furniture made with 100% recycled ocean plastic waste, and fabrics that help clean indoor air pollution, thanks to our key suppliers and partners. We are proud to be working with companies that aim to to reduce facilityrelated carbon emissions by as much as 60% no later than 2030, and are working towards carbon neutrality by 2050.

Sustainability

Our profits are shared. COMMUNITY BUILDING. We believe in not only providing livelihood but enhancing the lives of people in the communities where we operate. We provide factory off-cuts as resources for the under-privileged communities to make new, high-value products to be sold in hotel shops and intend to set up more partnerships in each of the country we are located in.
