第43屆香港聯校科學展覽已於8月27至31日假香港中央 圖書館舉行。今屆主題為「科學無領域安全添新色」， 旨在鼓勵同學細心觀察，動動腦筋積極改善常用家電產 品的安全性，以降低意外的發生。今屆比賽的全場總冠 軍──「聰明拖扳」就是一個專為防止電器超電荷而創 作的發明品。除了一眾本地作品外，本會亦為此展覽特 邀了新加坡、中華台北和美國的代表隊伍來港參展，以 達至國際交流的目的。

The photos are being projected from the lights. This book has lots of features gathering into one page. improve the safety of domestic electric appliances in order to avoid accidents. The grand champion of this competition – “Smart Plug” – was designed for to prevent overloading of electric appliances. Besides local works, Science Innovation Centre has cordially invited participants from Singapore, Taipei and the United States to encourage exchanges of ideas between different countries.

由特區政府創新科技署、數碼港及本會科創中心合辦 的第三屆香港青少年3D動畫創作大賽經已圓滿結束。 適逢2010年上海世博會城市最佳實踐區香港展覽館以 「智能卡、智能城市、智能生活」為主題，今屆比賽以 「智能城市」為題，鼓勵參賽者透過3D動畫去宣揚香 港這個「智能城市」。比賽反應非常熱烈，共吸引逾 100間中小學合共超過200份作品參賽，而作品質素亦 有顯著的提升。為了進一步鼓勵同學，主辦單位特別為 本屆的冠軍得獎者安排了為期五天的上海世博考察團， 以及為期三天的實習培訓計劃，以擴闊他們的視野。

The 3rd Hong Kong Youth 3D Animation Competition 2010, jointly organized by the Innovation and Technology Commission, Cyberport and Science Innovation Centre, was successfully held. In response to the theme of the Hong Kong Pavilion at the Shanghai WorldExpo 2010, “Smart Card, Smart City, Smart Life”, this year’s competition adopted the theme “Smart City”, aiming at encouraging participants to promote Hong Kong as a “Smart City” through 3D animation production. The competition was well-received, attracting over 200 works from more than 100 secondary and primary schools. The works submitted have been constantly improving in quality. In order to encourage students’ participation, the organizer has arranged for the champion of this competition a five-day tour to the Shanghai WorldExpo and a three-day internship program to enrich their experience and broaden their horizon.

his is a front cover and back cover design. The theme is saving the environment. The idea is about the environment is getting danger an emergent call is ringing. The colors used in the back cover are blue, purple and green. It creates a harmonious feeling. The symmetrical layout is more attractive and gives you more balance feeling.The telephone is red in color. There is a contrast between the background in order to get eye catching effect.

his book is a special release. It is about the activities of the Federation of Hong Kong Kowloon New Territories Hawker Association. This book is very challenging. Most of information provided by customer are different from each other. The photo provided needed a huge amount of effort on photo retouching. The photos were old with no digital version. It takes more time to communicate with the clients. Clients would change the text very often in order to make the content become perfect. I have learnt a lot on this project.

his advertisng is directed by me from photo taking to writing the article. I have learnt a lot on the effect of light reflection on this project. Lighting is one of the elements to increase photo attraction. Writing the article is a good experience for me, because I have paid lots of time on wordings selection.
