Resident/Nonresident Status Any person with a home Sunnyvale mailing address is considered a resident. A Sunnyvale P.O. Box or business address will not be taken as proof of residency. A nonresident is someone who lives in another city. Proof of residency: Present two forms of identification to verify residency to the Sunnyvale Recreation Center front desk. This includes a picture identification card and a City of Sunnyvale utility bill, with customer’s name and Sunnyvale address.
Recreation Scholarships Available $500 scholarships are available for Sunnyvale residents 17 years or younger. For more details and how to apply, see page 50.

To participate in any Sunnyvale camp, all campers ages 3.5 + are required to have an online emergency card via ePACT on file by the first day of camp. Primary webtrac account holders will receive an email with directions of how to complete this process.

SCHOOL-AGE Traditional camps include everything you need to have fun this summer! Start the day off with a morning rally to sing camp songs, go over rules and meet the staff. THERAPEUTIC RECREATION
Club X For families who need a full-day camp experience, Club X is available to campers participating in a morning camp at the Sunnyvale Community Center. Each afternoon begins with a supervised lunch followed by fun indoor and outdoor games, contests, arts and crafts as well as free choice time. Camp stays on-site and focuses on appropriate social interaction, following directions, cooperation and decision making. Time to get crafty and creative! Campers make several different one-of-a-kind crafts throughout the week. Craft projects include tie dye T-shirts, paint pouring, beading and shrinky dinks.
Campers spend the afternoon making many different projects using these colorful plastic beads. Learn to make 3D boxes, ornaments and more! Come and see how many ways these beads can be used to make creative and useful items.

Submit a complete application including supporting documents through Dec. 2, 2024 or until funds run out. See application for details. Applications available in English, Spanish and Chinese, Simplified. Allow two to four weeks to process.
