A MESSAGE FROM SUNNYVALE RECREATION CANCELED EVENTS MAY
COVID-19 INFORMATION UPDATE Just like you, we are monitoring the shelter in place order from the Santa Clara County Department of Public Health and the CDC. And just like you, we are planning for summer and beyond. Safety is our #1 priority, so as we plan, we are reviewing all aspects of our programs including locations, enrollment capacity, physical distancing requirements, hygiene practices and more to ensure everyone can stay safe and have fun in as close to a “normal” environment as possible. While we have canceled all spring events and classes, we hope to begin summer programs in June and we are planning a full calendar of classes and activities to promote learning, physical activity, creativity and fun while following any Public Health guidelines that may be in place. For details: • Sunnyvale.ca.gov/virus for potential postponements • Sunnyvale.ca.gov/cals for calendar updates Our 100% customer satisfaction guarantee ensures that, should plans change, you have maximum flexibility with Sunnyvale Recreation activities, camps and classes. If, for any reason, you aren’t satisfied or are concerned about COVID-19 impacting your participation, you will receive a refund. Check Sunnyvale.ca.gov/virus for possible postponements
Note this sticker throughout the guide as a reminder to check the City website to ensure these planned events are on track.
Looking forward to seeing you and your family safely participating in all Sunnyvale Recreation has to offer. Stay safe and see you soon.
