A batter can plonk the front-foot and hit deliveries across the line with a fair degree of success. But Starc, blessed with better skill sets, changed the questionnaire with deliveries that would either straighten in the off-middle line or cut back sharply towards legmiddle after a fair amount of deviation in the air. The Indians have known what Starc has done for the longest time but they failed to factor in that conditions in Mumbai and Visakhapatnam would assist his bowling a bit more. Agency News : New Delhi

Former Pakistani fast bowler

Shoaib Akhtar has made a bold statement about Team India’s star cricketer Virat Kohli. Akhtar believes that Virat Kohli should focus on only two formats in international cricket now. Virat Kohli has not played a single T20 International match since ICC T20 World Cup 2022. He has only been playing ODIs and Test series but has not been selected in the T20 International squad. When Virat Kohli played a memorable innings of 186 runs against Australia in the recently concluded BorderGavaskar Trophy last Test match, now Akhtar said, ‘If you ask me as a cricketer, I think Virat Kohli should focus only on Test and ODI formats. should T20 consumes more energy. He is a very excited character, he wants to perform well when he steps on the field. He also wants to have a good time in T20 Internationals.Akhtar continued, ‘Virat Kohli loves T20 cricket but there are occasions when you have to think about your body. How old is he now? At the age of 34, he can play for at least 6 to 8 years. If he can play 30 or more 50 Tests. If that happens, he can score 25 more centuries in this format. Akhtar said, “It’s also important to look at how he treats his mental health. Virat is a Punjabi, his frame of mind is also good, he is also paying attention to his fitness.” Akhtar said that in my opinion Virat can set a new record of 100 centuries in international cricket.
