Whether your goal is to blast at full speed across the bay or to sail 10 metres without capsizing, we have all the kit and tuition you could ever need.

Our expert team of instructors offer inclusive daily tuition and a whole range of inclusive courses. There’s no need to book courses, clinics or equipment in advance as there is plenty to go around.

Windsurfing and dinghy sailing are included in the cost of your beachclub holiday, so dip in and out during the week depending on the wind conditions and your energy levels. The watersports beach is open every day from 9.30am until the last guest comes off the water and will also remain open over lunchtime, so you can sail all day if you want to.

Fancy a new challenge? For a little extra, you can give kitesurfing a go at a couple of our beachclubs.

NO WIND, NO WORRIES

Once you try water skiing and wakeboarding, you’ll definitely be coming back for more. Both are exhilarating, great exercise and great entertainment. Practice makes perfect and you’ll get up to two free tows per person, per week, so get out there and give it a go. At selected beachclubs you can also (for a little extra) have a go at wakesurfing – a new and exciting sport taking the wakeboarding scene by storm.

If you prefer a more sedate pace, then kayaking and stand up paddle boarding are just perfect for you.

Paddle your way along idyllic coastlines to secluded bays and beautiful beaches. Kayaking and stand up paddle boarding are both included all day, every day at any of our beachclubs.

BIKES AND BALLS

Our bike guides know the hills, coastlines and villages around our beachclubs like the back of their hands. They’ve scouted the best routes, the most scenic viewpoints and the off-the-beaten-track spots you really shouldn’t miss.

They’ll help you choose the roads and trails that will make your cycling adventures something special. And if you’re really keen, we’ll help you meet up with other cyclists on inclusive guided rides to explore the landscapes of Spain, Sardinia, Italy, Croatia and Greece.

If you love tennis, visit any of our beachclubs (apart from Cosmos Beachclub, where the focus is most definitely on windsurfing) and benefit from daily group coaching sessions, available at no extra cost. Our tennis programme has been designed with Mark Petchey, (Andy Murray’s former coach), to help you, whatever your level, come away from your holiday a more confident player.

STRETCH OUT

Learn the ropes or blaze the trails with us and test your head for heights on your next beachclub holiday. Climbing walls are a great way to start climbing or to practice your moves, and at Alana, Airone or Messini Beachclubs you’ll be able to do just that. All have climbing walls with instruction as an inclusive activity. If you get the climbing bug and want to test your new-found skills, you can also go rock climbing in Croatia and Greece.

After the buzz and adrenaline rush of climbing, stretch out with a fitness or yoga class. Our fitness programme offers a fantastic range of classes using a mix of different training sessions for flexibility, conditioning, cardio and power. Our brand new beachclub, in the beautiful region of Murcia, south-eastern Spain, is a stylish, modern oasis, designed and built to our own high specifications with superb facilities for all things active or kicking back and taking it easy.

Arriving at Baia dei Mori Beachclub you’re struck by the relaxed vibe. Take a stroll on winding paths through the dunes to the beach. The clear turquoise water lapping at your feet will instantly wash away thoughts of home. It’s situated on the north east coast of the Italian island of Sardinia, to the south of the famous Costa Smeralda. The pine-fringed bay is undeveloped with beautiful views all around and the vista so vast you’ll feel like paddling for miles.

We include a wide range of activities on your holiday. If you’re into road cycling, you’ll be in your element. It can get breezy too, so it’s just great for sailing and windsurfing. For a little extra you can also kitesurf at a nearby beach. When the wind blows the conditions are great.

Discover Italy’s secret coast and get away from it all at Airone Beachclub, located in the sun-drenched region of Calabria (the arch of Italy’s boot).

Pretty in pink and in the style of a grand old villa, Airone Beachclub sits amongst lovely gardens with a beautiful big pool, the perfect place for a taste of La Dolce Vita!

The beach, a short stroll (150m) through fragrant pine trees is lovely - a long expanse of golden sand, lapped by the crystal-clear turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. There’s heaps of space on the beach and on the water to make the most of our watersports kit. Back on dry land we have four tennis courts, a fitness platform, climbing wall and superb road biking.

You’ll find Alana Beachclub in a beautiful spot between the turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea and the towering peaks of the Paklenica National Park. The central tower is a local landmark, easy to spot, standing proud over the pine trees and gardens.

Refurbished in 2018, all cabins, bedrooms and bathrooms have a stylish, contemporary feel.

There’s also a 50m heated swimming pool , freeform pool, splash pool and beach bar.

Alana Beachclub is just great for all the usual inclusive Neilson activities and kids’ clubs, with a large sailing bay for water sports and six tennis courts. There’s also a climbing wall at the beachclub, or you can go rock climbing in the national park.

When it comes to relaxation, the spa here is the real deal. There’s an indoor hydro-massage whirlpool, resistance swimming pool, hot tubs, steam bath and three types of sauna.

Retreat Beachclub Sivota, Greece

Tucked away in a beautiful corner of Greece with sweeping views of shimmering coves, green hillsides and secluded beaches, the aptly named Retreat Beachclub offers an idyllic getaway.

A collection of beaches forms the edge of the watersports area and a sand bar in the shallow water leads to the sailing beach on ‘Goat Island’ opposite the beachclub.

Built on a hillside, the rooms, bar and restaurant are perched high above the Ionian and the views are spectacular.

Whilst we would not recommend the Retreat to thrill-seeking sailors and windsurfers, the sheltered, flat water is pretty special for other watersports, especially water skiing, wakeboarding and wakesurfing.

Cosmos Beachclub Vassiliki, Greece

If you’re into windsurfing and cycling then you simply must go to the Cosmos Beachclub in Vassiliki. For reliable wind and flat water, Vassiliki is hard to beat.

The Cosmos Beachclub couldn’t be more perfectly situated. It has a great location at the windward end of the bay, so you get the longest sailing hours. Vassiliki is known as one of the places to go for speed and freestyle windsurfing, it’s still great for beginners though.

Best of all, whether you’re windsurfing or relaxing, you’re only metres from the beach and the turquoise Ionian Sea. We’ve been windsurfing from the Cosmos Beachclub for over 30 years, it’s part of our history and we love it here.

There’s a huge, unspoilt, sandy beach that stretches as far as the eye can see; it’s great for all watersports, especially sailing. The modern rooms have good-size balconies or terraces with lovely views. Take advantage of the superb childcare and slip off for a massage or explore on a guided bike ride. As we’re in rural Greece; the immediate area is fairly sleepy; however, the cosmopolitan city of Kalamata is nearby and has a lot to offer.

With only 57 rooms, a minimalist design and à la carte restaurant, it’s a small, intimate hotel with a boutique vibe. There’s a beautiful glass-sided swimming pool with day beds sitting in the water, a hydro spa with sauna and steam room and of course all of our inclusive activities.

Sitting alongside our popular Messini Beachclub, Buca and Messini share activity areas, but the main hotel, bar, restaurant and pool area are strictly adult-only.

Off the beaten track, on the island of Lemnos, Portomyrina Palace is perfectly situated. It’s heaven for mountain bikers and sailors. The surrounding hillsides are full of trails to explore and the wind blows consistently; sailors and windsurfers will be in their element.

The journey from the airport to the beach at Portomyrina Palace takes just 30 minutes. In no time at all you’ll be relaxing with a drink and dipping your toes in the 50-metre pool.

The pool bar has a unique design with a canopied roof shading you from the sun. It’s a great place to chat over the day’s adventures. Stop by for a sundowner and catch the sun setting over the pool.

Aeolian Village Beachclub Lesvos, Greece

Keen sailors and windsurfers will notice the wide-open bay with the wind at their back. Mountain bikers will notice the trails in the hills on their way in. But everyone will remember the warm welcome and the long, sandy beach in this lovely corner of Lesvos.

Aeolian Village Beachclub is super-chilled out. You won’t feel rushed into doing anything while you’re here, even though there’s so much on offer.

There are 129 light and spacious rooms spread out amongst the hillside and main hotel together with a large swimming pool and pool bar with comfy sofas.

A real highlight has to be the local village of Skala Eresos, located at the opposite end of the bay; the restaurants built on stilts over the sea add to the relaxed, bohemian vibe.

This is how it works…, you’ll spend a week living it up at a beachclub, while the kids (if you have any) make loads of new friends in kids club. If you can already sail or are planning on letting somebody else do the sailing, you’re free to pack in as many inclusive activities as you can manage (or just relax by the pool). If you’ve never sailed before, now’s the time to learn the ropes on our ‘intro to yachting’ course, where you’ll pick up everything you need to know to sail on flotilla.

Before you know it the second week of the holiday has arrived and you’ll be checking out of your beachclub and onto your yacht ready to set sail around the beautiful islands of the Greek Ionian.

FLOTILLA

A flotilla holiday is the ultimate getaway, a voyage of discovery, where you wake up every day to a different view and a new experience.

Our flotillas are chosen for their beautiful locations and great sailing conditions. Plan your day as you please, from sea swims to picnics and sightseeing while making your way to the day’s final destination. You’ll be sailing with a bunch of other yachts, having lots of fun socialising with other sailors and the Neilson lead crew along the way.
