Low Costs, Great Value
Paying for college is often a concern. The first step is to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To get a FAFSA application go to www.fafsa.gov online. Prospective students are encouraged to submit their FAFSA by January 1.

School of Science, Health, and Criminal Justice The College’s largest school offers numerous majors in the health, medical, criminal justice, and sports management professions. Nationally accredited programs present a strong academic foundation along with applied technical skills.
Canino School of Engineering Technology The School focuses on invention and innovation and offers research opportunities in applicable fields, like Electrical Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology.
School of Business and Liberal Arts The School offers degree programs, courses, and minors in business, management, human services and general studies. Our curriculum prepares students for rewarding careers in various industries.

Live with friends - Kenn edy Hall is a beautiful an d modern residence hall offering apartment-style living qu arters with single rooms. The twoand four-bedroom suite s are typically reserved for third- and fourth-year students.

Dining On Campus
Chaney Dining Center is conveniently located near the residence halls and serves great meals seven days a week. Meal plan options include 19, 14 or 10 weekly meals. Kennedy Hall residents also have the choice of purchasing a seven-meal weekly plan, and a five-meal weekly Commuter Plan is a convenient option for off-campus students. No cash? No problem! A Roo Express Account and Campus Cash are included in most meal plans and can be used at any dining facility, as well as the Campus Store and Textbook Center. The Roo Express Account is also accepted by merchants in Canton and Potsdam. Rendezvous, located in the heart of Miller Campus Center, features the Center Grill, Soup & Slices, and Market Fare. Roos Court in MacArthur Hall is a salad, soup and sandwich destination. Cyber Café in Southworth Library proudly serves StarbucksTM Coffee, paninis and late-night snacks. Nevaldine Hall’s Deb’s Corner is open for breakfast and lunch.

Athletics and Fitness Great Facilities
Student-athletes and students who want to stay fit are invited to use the College’s premiere Convocation, Athletic and Recreation Center, nicknamed Roos House. The facility includes: • An ice arena • A three-court field house • A state-of-the-art fitness center • A four-lane pool • Locker rooms for all sports and fitness enthusiasts The College has intramural programs, club teams and pick-up games in many sports such as flag football, basketball, floor hockey, volleyball, and many more.
At least half of your education happens outside of the classroom. Make new friends, build teamwork and leadership skills, and make memories that will last a lifetime.

Whether you want to co mpete at a high level, stay in shape, or just have fun, SUNY Canton has something for ever y incoming student. SUNY Canton features 15 varsity teams and is a Division III member of the Nationa l Collegiate Athletic As sociation (NCAA), as well as a m ember of the United St ates Collegiate Athletic Asso ciation (USC AA). The Ka ngaroos play teams from all ov er the Northeast. The College has a dedi cated coaching and at hletic staf f who are focused on their team ’s academic and overal l well-being as part of the SUNY Canton expe rience.

The best way to see SUNY Canton is to schedule a tour when college is in session. You can discuss your major and career options as well as college life. The Office of Admissions, located in French Hall, offers guided tours Monday through Friday at 10 am, 12 pm and 2 pm. Most future applicants add an interview with an admissions counselor and a meeting with a financial aid staff member.
