KAI TAK DEVELOPMENT - COMPETITION Started in August 2018, Kai Tak development was a mixed used project wirh as retail podium and residential buildings. Developed by SHK, in corperation with ALKF+, our role was to optimize the retail design with the concept of developing retail experience with a series of surprises. By introducing the idea of floating gardens, our facade features a multi-level planters creating a vertical garden from street view to the roof of the retail mall. We design the mall as transparent as possible to blur the boundary between nature and artificial nature, the street life and retail experience. CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT-INTEGRATION

BINTARO EXCHANGE PHASE 2A Bintaro Xchange is an mixed-use development with approximately 113,265m2 site coverage. The mall is phase 2 of the whole development. Highlighted by an aquarium in the middle, it is the biggest park in Jarkata’s commercial projects with approximately 18,830m2. the current situation challenge our design by how to create a retail frontage from the public, and a facade facing the aquarium, on the other hand, more forest-like, green-intergrated, and neutral.
