The English Department is proud to introduce Volume 3 of The Pandemic Project, a collection of ECC students’ writing and artwork. The Pandemic Project: Volume 3 was edited by Professor Jennifer Campbell, Associate Professor Lisa Wiley-Moslow, and student Liberty Hens, and contains the broadest scope yet of poems, stories, journals, research writing, artwork, and social commentary.
The Pandemic Project began in Spring 2020, when Covid-19 prevented students from participating in the annual Spring Arts Festival. The collection of student writing and art was a way to give students a voice and to share their writing with the ECC community. The project has continued to give students an outlet for the emotions and challenges brought about by the pandemic. Fall 2021 was the first semester in which the English Department offered EN 299 Pandemic Literature, and some of the work of those students is featured in Volume 3.
