SUNY Poly students enjoy public school tuition with benefits that many small, private institutions boast, including small class sizes, individualized learning experiences, and a tight-knit community.
The Program
From small businesses to global conglomerates, all organizations need an accurate record of their financial dealings. Accounting is the recording, summarizing, and analysis of business or financial transactions and information. Accountants not only keep track of the past but also examine and analyze events to plan in the future financial world.
SUNY Poly’s Accounting program prepares students to become certified public accountants. In addition to the CPA preparation program, the BS degree program with a major in business administration allows a student to “specialize’’ in accounting by utilizing accounting courses as elective choices within their degree program.
Accreditation
SUNY Poly business programs are accredited by AACSB International.
AACSB International is known worldwide as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/ professional accreditation an institution and its business program can earn. Less than 5% of the world’s 13,000 business programs have earned an AACSB Accreditation.
AACSB-accredited schools have the highest quality faculty, relevant and challenging curriculum, and provide educational and career opportunities that are not found at other business schools.
