Tidskriften Hjärnstorm, issue No. 142–143, 2021

Hjärnstorm is an independent arts and culture journal with contributions from international and Swedish artists and writers, along with new translations. Each edition is a unique experience that can include texts, art projects, poems and transcripts. Hjärnstorm is a collaborative endeavour by artists, writers, scientists and academics.

In our booth we present works from artists, writers, and editors who have been involved in the latest issues. The theme for # 142–143 is duty and escape, two words and concepts that often cross each other’s paths. We follow escape routes from Palestine, Yugoslavia and Crimea leading to camps, sinking boats and new hometowns, but we also explore people’s escape responses from a philosophical and ethical perspective.

The forthcoming issue, released in autumn 2021, will focus on literature and art.
