Kristian Marr, the English musician known equally for his professional endeavours and friendship with Amy Winehouse, gives us a little peak into his life.

The former bassist of Towers of London is keeping himself busy with both music and modelling, but Kristian knows all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, and needless to say, he is certainly not one of those.

KRISTIAN MARR Interview by Ella Hagi for Client Magazine 1. Music is your thing. You've played with the Towers of London and have recorded an album with your own band Spring Heeled Jack. How did you get into music?

When i was young i found a dusty acdc video in my dads loft.

I was hooked from then on!!

2. Why blues, not indie rock or Brit-pop, or any other genre for that matter? Have you experimented with other styles as well?

I'm inspired by all kinds of music there are so many styles in my music. I go more on the lines of Rock if we must but i could categorise myself into anything 3. What's the one song you can't get out of your head at the moment?

Crosby,Stills, Nash & Young - Almost cut my hair 4. Who did the 6-year-old Kristian want to be as a grown-up?

S.A.F.C football player 5. How did you get involved with modelling?

Got spotted playing a gig in the 12 bar on Denmark st 6. You've had a bit of a party boy past. How much do you do it these days?

Im young and free and still love to be a "party boy" haha. Fact is it inspires me so much to meet new people and enjoy myself but my passion will always be in my music.

7. Your relationship with Amy Winehouse has been in the media a lot. You've cited her as a soulmate and best friend. Understandably this is a devastating loss on a personal level, but how has it affected you creatively?

Broke my heart at the time. Sad then and still sad now.

8. As far as music goes, do you have anything in store for the future? Any new material you're working on?

Busy writing, rehearsing and recording with a fantastic new band.

9. What else have you got planned? Are there certain things you definitely want to do in your life?

Im doing exactly what i want to do now and for the rest of my life.
