GENERAL INFORMATION

PRODUCTION

Production time for all custom orders is 45 days – the 45-day production time begins as soon as final artwork has been approved and submitted in writing. Rush orders are accepted only if the production schedule allows. Always contact customer service for current production times.

PRE-PRODUCTION PROOFS ON IN STOCK HEADWEAR

Applicable set up charges such as disc or screen charges will be invoiced when pre-production proof is approved. Proofs for orders will be virtual unless a shipping number is provided.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Shipping Guarantee: melin ensures that if our freight company loses or damages your shipment, we will at no charge to you, reprint the order and reship it at our expense. When an order is shipped using a customer’s shipping number, the customer assumes all responsibility once the carrier takes receipt of the order.

Shipping Methods: Best way unless specified. U.S. DOT hazmat regulations may require some of our items to be properly classified, packaged, labeled, handled, and stowed for GROUND ONLY transportation. Don’t worry! This doesn’t mean your products are dangerous, it just means they need extra care during transport. This protects workers, emergency responders, and general public from the risks associated with hazmat transportation.

ARTWORK

All imprints, logos or trademarks displayed in this catalog are for illustration purposes only. These items are not available for sale unless the owner of that product issues specific permission. Color photographs in this catalog are approximate & may or may not be a true color representation of the actual product. To see actual material color, please contact customer support and order a sample.

Submit vector art with clear, concise instructions. Art that is not vector art may require additional charges & delay production. Exact duplication of logos, required PMS color numbers, & type styles cannot be guaranteed unless vector art to size specifications is submitted. Unless otherwise requested, melin creative department will size art to best fit the decoration area(s). Artwork submitted via e-mail must meet the following specifications: files should be in vector format, preferably Adobe Illustrator (.AI), if any images are used, they should be no less than 300 dpi & placed in an Encapsulated Postscript (EPS) file & be included in e-mail, convert all fonts to paths. CDR files can be used, preferably in hi-resolution (300 dpi), but vector art is preferred.

COPYRIGHT / TRADEMARK LAWS

To clean your melin hat simply rinse under room temperature water and apply soft soap. Scrub gently with a sponge or hand and set to dry. Do not dry clean hats.

All prices & materials are subject to change without notice.

Orders must be made in written form with purchase order number. No phone or basic email orders are accepted. melin is not responsible for duplication of orders that do not indicate confirmation. Ship dates cannot be scheduled until clarification of order has been completed (if needed), artwork has been approved & additional charges (if any) have been accepted.

Once an order has been entered into production it cannot be canceled. No cancellations will be accepted unless approved by melin & submitted in written form.

LAUNDERING ORDER PROCESSING ORDERS CANCELLATIONS CHANGES / CORRECTIONS

Changes to an order already in process may be made depending on the status of the order, providing the customer agrees to compensate for all costs (if any) & agrees to additional production time (if necessary).

When artwork is submitted by or on behalf of a Purchaser for production of an order, melin assumes that the artwork submitted is in full compliance with the laws governing copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property rights of any third party. Notwithstanding, and other provision in any purchase order, including any integration clause or other disclaimer, by submitting artwork in connection with an order, a Purchaser shall be deemed to have agreed to indemnify, defend and hold harmless melin from any claim, damages, or costs based on any alleged breach of any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property right of a third party arising from or related to melin’s use of such artwork in connection with such order. When artwork is submitted by or on behalf of a Purchaser, this provision shall be deemed both a separate agreement formed upon the submission of such artwork (and not superseded by any integration clause in a purchase order) and also a provision that is integrated into and made a part of each purchase order submitted by a Purchaser.

melin will NOT accept returns of custom product. If your order arrives damaged, faulty or the integrity of patch is compromised, please take proper documentation and email images of damaged product. Our team will review the claim and respond within 24 hours. CorporateOrders@melin.com

LESS THAN MINIMUM SIZING

melin has a MOQ of 72 units. If you cannot fulfill the minimum a $75(v) less than minimum fee will be charged to account.

melin caps are generally sized to be One Size Fits Most or OSFM unless stated otherwise. Our Classic size dimensions are as follows: A-GAME Depth - 17.5cm, Circumference - 59cm - 61.5cm, Visor Width - 16.75cm. Odyssey Depth - 16.5cm, Circumference - 59cm - 61.5cm, Visor Width - 18.5cm.

To receive warranty service, please call us at 949-994-4885 to speak with one of our customer service partners. The melin warranty lasts for the normal life of the merchandise, and the warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accident, or improper care. This warranty is limited to the value of the merchandise. melin will repair any defective merchandise. melin EXCLUDES any liability for incidental, consequential, or punitive damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
