UNICEF marked a sixth consecutive year of record-breaking procurement in 2022 and it responded to the growing needs of children living through conflict, climate-related disasters and nutrition crises.
The total value of UNICEF-procured supplies and services reached US$7.383 billion – a 93 per cent increase compared to pre-pandemic levels, fuelled largely by the growing needs of children and families living through new and ongoing humanitarian emergencies.
The year also marked 60 years of supply and logistics operations in Denmark: 60 years of sourcing with care, packing with love and delivering with hope.
