Get Ready for AWFS Fair 2023!

The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) is the largest national trade association in the U.S. representing the interests of the broad woodworking and furnishings industry. Every two years, AWFS hosts the AWFS Fair, the industry’s innovation marketplace, which brings together the entire home and commercial furnishings industry, including manufacturers and distributors of machinery, hardware, plastics, lumber, construction materials and other suppliers to the furniture, cabinet manufacturers and customer woodworkers. Thousands of woodworking manufacturing professionals are expected to gather to discover the latest products, technologies, and trends in the market.

The 2023 AWFS Fair will take place from July 25 to 28 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The show will feature more than 600 exhibitors showcasing their products and services across 300,000 square feet of exhibit space. This year’s show is all about delivering the relevant education you need to navigate your business through evolving times, offering a variety of educational and networking opportunities for attendees, including:

• The College of Woodworking Knowledge (CWWK) , a comprehensive education program seminar program that provides in-depth coverage of the issues that are of concern now, and offers a workable roadmap of real solutions and best practices for solid business advancement.

• The Visionary New Product Showcase and Awards, a display of innovative products and technologies that are new to the market or have been introduced since the last AWFS Fair. The showcase will be located in the main lobby in front of the West Hall and has proven to be one of the Fair’s most popular features. Products go head-to-head in the following categories: components; software; industry 4.0; raw materials; plastic machinery/supplies; tooling; machinery under 50K; machinery over 50K; power tools and hardware. Winners are selected by a panel of third-party judges.

• The Fresh Wood Student Competition and Exhibition, which recognizes outstanding construction and design achievements by students from high school and post-secondary woodworking programs in North America. Finalists will be prominently displayed at the show, and winners will be announced at an Award Ceremony at the Fresh Wood Display.

• The AWFS Fair Live, a stage area that features live demonstrations, interviews, presentations, and discussions on various topics related to woodworking and furnishings. This year’s programming includes the popular WEDTalks, the Rapid Fire presentations, the keynote “encore” and the student competition award ceremony.

The Maverick Award is the headline award and will honor excellence in marketing strategy and execution for Tool Tour participation at AWFS Fair 2023.

The 2023 AWFS Fair is expected to attract more than 15,000 attendees from all segments of the woodworking and furnishings industry, including cabinet manufacturers, furniture makers, architectural woodworkers, millwork producers, store fixture manufacturers, countertop fabricators, flooring manufacturers, and more. The show is also open to educators, students, hobbyists, media representatives, and other industry professionals.
