Joppa is one of the Dallas’s few preserved freedmen’s towns that remains today. Joppy Momma’s Farm is a community farm & garden that promotes health, wealth, self-sufficiency through sustainable, regenerative agriculture; to educate and increase possibilities for these goals.
The project’s objective to create and construct a public pavilion and outdoor classroom. This pavilion is the core of the Joppy community for neighbors and the public to gather, collaborate, and appreciate the history and the generations within the Joppa vicinity.
fig. final physical model fig. finalised design iterationsThe Joppa Momma’s Farm Pavilion was designed with inspiration drawn from the longstanding tradition of shotgun houses within the community. The design underwent numerous iterations (show in the figures below), exploring different options for the roof. Ultimately, the chosen design incorporates the distinctive gable form of these houses, as well as using reclaimed wood sourced from them.
Plastic roofing provides rain and UV light protection.
Roof Screen provides Shade.
Steel Frame supports the weight of wooden raft and polygal.
Roof Screen limits the direct sunlight.
Primary structure is pre-fabricated at UTA’s Design Build Lab, transported to Joppa and erected at the site.

Brooklyn Ice City is a visionary project born in the aftermath of a catastrophic winter leaving only 160 survivors. The average equatorial temperature turned to about -20°C (-10°F), roughly similar to present Antarcticae land went through the coldest global climate imaginable covered with glacial ice from pole to pole.

Water extraction/ Filtration System
Once the water is extracted from the frozen sea, it runs through several process of filtaration and the pure water is collected in the horizontal tank.
Co2
The filtered extracted Oxygen
The nods collect outside air, which is filtered and stored in a big tank. CO2 is extracted and stored in 3 smaller tanks. Oxygen is obtained through electrolysis.
Weather Forecast and Communication Station
A central antenna surrounded by powerful computers sends and receives signals from satellites to gather weather and future habitable zone information.
The enclosed structure enables biological existence by utilizing solar and nuclear energy to transform the cold outside air into a habitable temperature.
Water Extraction
Underground water extraction plants obtain subsurface water through deep roots using ice heating. This enables in situ production of metals such as steel, aluminum, and magnesium.
Bio-genetic and chemical procedures enable soil formulation for sustainable glass agriculture, with metallic rods supporting optimal plant growth temperature.
This project is located in the beautiful city of Vicenza, Italy, adjacent to the historic Palazzo Chiericati and Teatro Olimpico. The proposed building is designed to showcase the late Palladian’s work, displaying his lifetime achievements, building models, and other art pieces.
In the heart of Vicenza, this modern art gallery and museum pays tribute to the city’s rich cultural heritage and the works of the great Pallaian architect. Seamlessly blending with historical structures, it offers a refreshing contrast. Step inside to experience an immersive journey, appreciating intricate details and enhanced by clever lighting and sound. A unique space celebrating Vicenza’s rich history and culture.
Vicenza, Italy. As visitors step inside the building, they are greeted by a generously proportioned atrium bathed in natural light, serving as the vibrant heart of the gallery. This central hub is thoughtfully designed to exhibit a diverse range of architectural models and drawings, offering an insightful journey through the evolution of Palladian’s Architecture in contemporary design. The tasteful incorporation of natural materials like wood and marble imparts a warm and sophisticated ambiance to the space.
fig. axon view fig. axon viewThese sketches were done in the first semester of architecture school. Drawing and sketching have always captivated me, leading me to pursue architecture as a profound journey of creativity and fulfilling others’ aspirations. It’s a realm where I can shape tangible spaces, materializing people’s dreams and achieving a harmonious fusion of functionality and aesthetic brilliance. This profound connection between my ardor and the transformative power of architecture fuels my thirst for knowledge, propelling me to become an architect dedicated to manifesting intelligence in design and making peoples’ dreams a reality.
