All Personal Trainers are certified to a minimum Level 3 Personal Trainer and are required to be on the REPS register (Register of Exercise Professionals).

Inside Surrey Sports Park

MyZone accurately measures your heart rate, calories you burn and your workout intensity. MyZone is a not an ordinary heart rate monitor. It is a fitness and wellbeing tracker that will record all your workouts in real time. This information can be instantly accessed via your online profile. Whether you’re working out within Surrey Sports Park or on the road, in the woods or on the beach, MyZone captures your data wherever you are.

Health and Performance The Surrey Human Performance Institute - located in Surrey Sports Park - offers health and performance assessments to a variety of clients. Our tests provide the opportunity to learn about your health and optimise your training.


Performance Improve your training efficiency and get results that are specific to you. Our performance tests give you accurate results that you can tailor your training to, including heart rate zones, power zones, speed zones, recovery and nutritional advice – all easily accessible and affordable sports science. Services include: • VO2max test (running/cycling/rowing) – the gold standard of fitness testing. Can be used to determine both maximum oxygen uptake and anaerobic threshold. Complement with either: • Running economy • Lactate threshold • Pedalling efficiency • Dynamic strength testing – assesses peak power and muscular endurance. Identifying any muscle imbalances which may increase injury risk. • Body composition – localisation of body fat using skinfolds. • Hydration status and sweat analysis • Nutritional consultations

Health Assess your health with our many health tests. Our services can provide you with a comprehensive insight into your personal health and the information you need to change your lifestyle.

We also do bespoke sport specific testing if you are looking to target physiological limitations of your sporting performance.

Strength and Conditioning Coaching Our experienced Strength and Conditioning Coaches are able to work with organisations, teams and individuals to offer packages bespoke to specific requirements and as such we offer a comprehensive portfolio of services. Some of the more popular options include:

• Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET) – the gold standard of clinical fitness testing. The test allows us to analyse the response of your heart and lungs with increasing exercise intensity.

• Blood tests – we offer full blood screens or simple cholesterol and glucose assessments
