FAYRE
ANNUAL VARSITY
Active Freshers’ Fayre is the first sporting event on the student sporting calendar. Taking place over the last weekend of Freshers’ Week, the event hosted at Surrey Sports Park showcases everything Team Surrey has to offer new students. All clubs put on taster sessions and activities in a bid to entice new students to their sport or club and Surrey Sports Park once again takes centre stage in a festival of student sport.
Now in its fourth year, the Varsity brings together the University of Surrey’s Team Surrey and Kingston University’s Kingston Cougars in a huge sporting battle. Over 2000 students play and spectate in a series of matches in all sports over the day to see who will be crowned Varsity Champions and take the local bragging rights that year.
BUCS WEDNESDAYS
