Thank you for taking the time to look at my resume and work. My name is Susan Firesidec and I am a senior art director/designer with a focus on creating modern and engaging work that resonates with my clients and their customers. I’m a big picture thinker who looks at all the small details. I look at a brand from the macro level to the micro level and no detail goes unnoticed. It takes time and patience in crafting something that has a purpose and is different than what others have. By coming up with creative solutions and suggestions beyond the client’s expectations, my goal is to produce work that is easy to understand, impactful and engaging.

I work directly with clients and other team members to help define the scope of work and project goals as well as coming up with methods for new work. This includes defining visual brand strategy, art direction, working with designers, animators, photographers, illustrators, and other team members. I often lead client presentations, working closely with various teams including UX, developers and junior staff. Projects include branding development and implementation, identity design and naming, packaging, advertising, environmental design, data visualization, annual reports, advertising and new media.
