Flamingo Marina This state-of-the-art full service marina is projected to be home for 178 boat slips. It will offer residential and commercial spaces for lease, as well as a hotel and conference center. The project is being developed in three phases, the first phase underway, now. The dredging of the basin, building of break walls, and placement of the majority of slips, as well as the construction of the east side commercial building and parking area is nearing completion. Plans to develop the new Marina Flamingo were finalized in 2018 and the public is looking forward to this exciting new development. According to an article from the Tico Times, the intention of the new marina is to “service the yachting, sailing and fishing community in the region.� Flamingo is one of the hottest areas in Costa Rica for sport fishing, water sports, and is home to some of the Pacific’s best beaches. Presently, there are no marinas like this on the Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, and all vessels currently drop anchor in the bays. Casa Agradecida is a short, five minute drive from Marina Flamingo!
