The Fort Hood Area Volunteer Child Care Fund (FHAVCCF) is a non-profit (501-3c) organization that provides childcare for military spouses who volunteer their time at Fort Hood and the surrounding areas.
The FHAVCCF is partnering with Chuck E. Cheese in Killeen for a fundraiser
Chuck E. Cheese, Killeen will donate 15% of all register sales generated by participating friends and family members who mention the Fort Hood Area Volunteer Fund. This includes all food, th merchandise, and token deals purchased by participants through the registers on August 26 .

A few of the 81 organizations include: United Service Organization (USO), Red Cross, Killeen Independent School District, Copperas Cove Emergency Shelter, Copperas Cove School District, Harker Heights School District, Gold Star Bereavement Program, Fort Hood Thrift Shop, Santa's Work Shop, Band of Angels, Hope Pregnancy Center, YMCA, Area Food Banks, Darnall Army Hospital, Officer Wives Club, Enlisted Spouses Club, Families in Crisis, Child and Youth Services, Fisher House Volunteers, Army Community Services, and the Fort Hood Community Life Program.
It is the FHAVCCF’s goal is to provide the resources to allow volunteers to help the community. Any authorized person, regardless of rank, may use this program as long as they register their children through the nationally accredited Fort Hood Child and Youth Services (CYS). They are eligible for up to 50 hours a month per child per month. There is no limit to the number of children as long as they are enrolled with the CYS while the volunteer is in service to the community.
