elcome! In the year leading up to my fortieth birthday (from December 2012 - 2013) I committed to posting something that I was grateful for each day along with a hand-drawn illustration and quote. Some of the quotes were from literary heroes and wise words of others. Some of the words were my own. I found gratitude in moments of quiet, in encounters with nature, food, friendship, solitude, and often in the midst of hardship and struggle. Over the course of the year, I posted nearly 300 illustrations. They are all here, among these pages, for you to contemplate, muse upon, and enjoy. In 2015, about 70 of these illustrations, including some new ones, became a book! Published by Rock Point, the book is called, “Wear Gratitude (Like A Sweater)� and it is available on Amazon and stores around the US.
