fur free alliance

Research After searching on the Internet, I found that lots of images show almost the same, repeated features: Negative and Bloody. However, I want to deliver the following points:
Positive Image No Bloody Visuals Reference to Human Culture Freedom of Wildlife
Sketch There are many posibilities for the LOGO design.
the first idea: CAGE Usually, animals are locked into a cage waiting to be skinned, broken cage symblises freedom.
the second idea: TANGRAM Tangram relats to our childhood, when we are encouraged to make friends with animals by parents. The tangram pieces are placed into the shape of a fox which symblelises wildlife.
the THIRD idea: ORIGAMI Similar to the tangram idea, the origami fox could represent the playful and peaceful mind of children. The natural beauty of origami forms a strong contrast with the bloody fur industry, which idea I decided to carry on future.

Poster The theme of the poster design is skinning. On the poster I cut A Negative Shape of fashion goods from various animal skins, which created strong contrasts and revealed the cruel side of the fashion industry.
Postcard Inaddion to the posters, a separate set of postcards is also designed to accompany the posters. On the postcards, people can find the missing parts of the poster and are encouraged to "give them back" to the animals.

Research
AI Sketch
As a chinese design student, I usually find inspirations from western cultures which play a leading role in the design industry. However, I began to realise the importance of chinese culture once I visited LIU LI CHANG, a hundred-year-old street selling traditional crafts, and impresed by the rich content of my own culture origin.

03 SEA of LIFE
This is a book design project based on my university diary.
sea of life
Inspiration
I kept the habit of diary writing in my university. After graduation, I read each page of the diary and felt excited. Time flies in four years, but each day in my life was full of dramas and surprises. On the other hand, four years' study is only a brief moment in my life.
Mind Map Life vs. Sea Therefore, I compared my life as the sea, and every period in my life is a drop of water. Within that tiny drop, there exist many key moments.
Structure Studies I experimented with different possibilities for the inner structure of the waterdrop, whether it is symmetrical or random, wavy or curly. I chose one structure that is steady and best represents the wave.

prejudice
This is a study about cultural bias and graphic representations. There is no final resolutions in this preoject, but different explorations of various possibilities.
prejudice
Inspiration
My teachers and classmates are from all over the world in my English training Institution, there are a lot of insignificant bias caused by the totally different bankground.
what is cultural bias? In fact, prejudice or bias is not necessarily mistake or rumor. Bias is based on part of the truth, which, however, tends to ignore the whole picture.
As a result, I wanted to find a way to communicate the idea of truthful prejudice, introducing the whole picture of cultural bias to people.
Graphics These are graphics of cultural objects. The icons I illustrated in this project are based on my research of my English class colleagues' opinions. I realised that they usually put more emphasis on details of daily lifes rather than abstract cultural subjects.
These graphics are devided into two parts, the one is about Easterners (above) ,and the other one is about Westerners (below). Each brife picture demonstrates a piece of relative bias, and I'd like to leave people the impresion of the whole picture which is about their habits and perception.
