MISSISSIPPI BOUND The flight to Gulfport left the airport bright and early at 8:00 am. The jet soared through the sky for 2 hours and fifteen minutes. Ariel and Sebastian sat together in the sixth row while Mom and Dad were three rows back. When the plane landed, it was luggage time. Sebby had one bag, and Ariel had two. Mom and Dad had a whopping three bags! After the victory lap of getting their bags, they hopped into a taxi with the most welcoming driver. "Welcome to the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, folks! Time to get your adventure shoes on and embrace all the fabulousness this place offers!" The family smiled and looked forward to exploring their new hometown.
QUICK QUIZ What time did the plane leave? What time did it land? What row were the parents in? How many bags did they have to collect before getting into the taxi?

A VISIT TO THE MISSISSIPPI AQUARIUM Ariel, Sebastian and their friends went to the Mississippi Aquarium last weekend. Their parents drove them. They left home at 7:00 in the morning. The kids were so excited. It was their first time seeing marine animals together. When they arrived, they went right to the bird aviary. Sebastian got bored while Ariel was very interested. After that, they went to the alligator exhibit. They were scary because they were huge and had sharp teeth. The dolphins were amazing because they could do some tricks. Before they left, they saw a sign about sleeping over. It was a great idea and they had to try it out soon. They had a great day. They planned to come back again next month.

One grew so big that it measured almost a foot before SPLAT! it fell off the roof. Jack even included a graph showing how much the icicle grew every day. Measure each day and write the answers below.
