Year 5 & 6 residential trip

In June, our Year 5 and 6 children went on their residential trip to Blackland Farm, near East Grinstead. The children were blessed with beautiful weather and arrived excited and ready to take part in a lovely range of activities, such as abseiling, the ‘Leap of Faith’, tunnelling and grass sledging.

For many of the children, this was their first experience of being away from home without parents or siblings; they managed excellently and were a true credit to their parents, the school and themselves. The school received a lovely email from a member of Blackland Farm staff saying, ‘Every single student was exceptionally well behaved and the encouragement and kindness they showed each other was so lovely to see… share with them how impressive they were and how fondly myself and other staff felt towards them as they honestly are the best school group I've ever had the pleasure of teaching.’

We are immensely proud of the children and are looking forward to planning the next residential trip!
