Coastwatch Station Open Day

Gouda love a cheese chase!
To celebrate the Coronation, the folks at Wild Heart Hill camping in Findon held a cheese chase for just 100 brave souls who hurled themselves down the hill in pursuit of a 10lb Gouda (adults) and a couple of Camemberts for the children. Night to Remember for Polly Polly Hearn, from Worthing, will be donning her walking shoes this June as she prepares for her third Night to Remember in aid of St Barnabas House – and this year, for the first time, her children (11 and 13) will be joining her.
Polly has first-hand experience of the hospice’s care. “In the autumn of 2018, my stepdad, David, went into St Barnabas,” she says. “The care for him and my mum during that time was amazing.”
If you’d like to shine a light for local hospice care, get ready to walk through the night of 24 June. There are new routes for all distances –10km, 20km or 25km – although the spirit of the event remains just the same. It’s about fun, friends, family and of course fundraising! Whether you are remembering a loved one or taking on a personal challenge, this is your Night to Remember. Find out more at www.stbh.org.uk/ nighttoremember
