Bob Alley, illustrator of the Michael Bond Paddington Bear books, Zoomed with the Year 5 and Year 6 children for a masterclass in being an illustrator. The children loved seeing how he draws Paddington. Such a great experience and we are grateful to Petworth Art Society for offering us the opportunity.

Day & swimming

Sport opportunities

Cross country, hockey, talented athlete and netball events have enthused the children and allowed them to compete as part of their sporting opportunities.

World Book Day

We explored words for World Book Day this year and the children came dressed as a word for us all to guess. The array of costumes was something else and we loved sharing books with the children. The children found unusual places to read and new books arrived for the children to engage with.

Swimming

The swimming pool reopens from Easter and we are excited about being able to get the children swimming again. The children love earning their swimming certificates and learning some important water confidence skills.
