Instead of watching elephants paint, why not paint an elephant? Paint Your Own Elephant with the Elephant Parade Art Box. Included is a 10 or 15 cm polyresin elephant model, a multilingual instruction booklet (Dutch, English, Danish, French, Italian, Spanish), three different-sized brushes, and of course our Elephant Parade non-metallic acrylic paint in five colors.
There are two sizes of elephant Statues:
Small art box (10 cm elephant) The art box size (22*7*17 cm.) Cost: 800 Baht
Large art box (15 cm elephant) The art box size (27*7*20 cm.) Cost: 1200 Baht
In collaboration with the Elephant Parade House in Chiang Mai, the NIST ENP Service Group is selling elephant statues. The ArtBox will be delivered to NIST and can be picked up starting the 22nd of April. There will be a painting workshop on Tuesday, 22nd of April for students who would like to paint their statues at school. Students can then choose to have their statues displayed on 23rd of April (aka Elephant Awareness Day at NIST)
Elephant Parade is a social enterprise with a unique combination of art, business and conservation. The life size baby elephant statues are exhibited in well-known cities and auctioned off at prestigious gala events. The Asian Elephant Foundation auction/sell the statues and hence the foundation can support various projects. In addition 20% of Elephant Parade net profit is also distributed to The Asian Elephant Foundation. The Asian Elephant Foundation distributes monies raised to various projects and organizations in the 13 Asian range countries, solely dedicated to the wellbeing and conservation of the Asian Elephant. In addition to this, The Asian Elephant Foundation plays an active role in awareness and educational projects around the world.
