Free Advertising on the Internet simply tells you how to and where to go to advertise for free on the Internet. You probably don't know who to trust or where to go to advertise for free that's worth your time. Who wants to spend their time posting ads only to have people emailing you "pitching" their product or opportunity? If free advertising was as effective as paid advertising, everyone would do it, right? Wrong! Quite simply, most people don't know what you are about to discover. They don't know that free advertising can be fruitful, effective and rewarding. How do you do it? Most new marketers type into Google, "free advertising" or "free places to advertise". What do they find? Most of the time they find "free" advertising Company's like InetGiant, AdPost or USFreeAds. Should you post your free ad in these? Think about it; who goes to these sites? People just like you who want to promote some new product or "opportunity" they just joined. These sites often entice you with "upgrades". Do they work? On a very rare occasion you might get another advertiser to see your ad and say, "Wow, that looks better than what I just joined. Maybe that will make me some money. I think I'll go with this". Think about it. Is that person going to do you much good since they don't know what they're doing or how to market? Sounds like a successful recipe for failure. Then you get an email that says, "You just got a response to your ad". When you read the response it says something like this; "I use to advertise for free on the Internet and found it wasn't too productive, but if you join this or look at that, you'll find all the free leads/advertising you'll ever need." In other words, some marketers are trying to lure you away from what you're in to get you to join their program. They "found" you by searching through the free ads. There's a way to handle those emails I'll tell you about later. One of the best ways to get free advertising or traffic is to have an article, blog or website that has great content and has links to it from similar source material. These links may be other articles or blogs you have written. Yes, you're going to have to spend some time writing. Isn't that what you do when you post an ad? This will also mean you're going to have to learn enough about the product or opportunity to recommend it. When you do a Google search for your product or opportunity, what do you type into the search box? The name of the product or opportunity right? Then make that product or opportunity your title along with some possible variations of it and tell people what you know about it. People tend to believe a recommendation over the Company website content. Just don't come across as being self serving; join here, join with me, I am the best sponsor, buy here.

If it's an opportunity, people want to know what's great about it or what's a major flaw with it. Don't be afraid to give your opinion even if it's negative. People will join in spite of your comments if it's a good enough program and they can get excited about it. Your honesty will attract similar honest people who you will enjoy working with. Getting back to those emails trying to entice you to join their program or opportunity, go ahead and answer them. Say you're actually getting some good results from your free advertising but don't tell them where or how. Always have a link in your signature that directs them to where you have a great marketing system or information about you and your Company. Occasionally people click on these links and get interested in what you're offering. Just don't "sell" people. Explain, don't sell. Should you ever "upgrade" any of the free ad sites to a "Pro" member? The answer is simple. Google your keywords (product or opportunity) and see if there are any "free ad" Company's with an ad on the first page. If there is, it's because someone did upgrade and Google picked the ad up and "placed" it high as on the first page. That means you're going to get traffic and possibly a sale or sign up. Would that be worth it to you? To get free advertising on the Internet you must spend some time coming up with good content, linking to similar content and keeping the content fresh and up to date. A high search engine placement means you will be found, seen and read, all of which is the same thing as getting free advertising on the Internet. I'd say that is fruitful, effective and rewarding.
