Ensure that all legal requirements are known and complied with by National Council. Ensure the appointment of suitable office bearers and staff to comply with best practice in management and leadership. Ensure State and Territory Councils provide opportunities for training potential office bearers at all levels of the Society. Ensure that the Society is transparent and accountable in all of its dealings. Review the Rule regularly to ensure that it is compatible with compliance requirements. Change the incorporation of the Association to the ACT. Review the Strategic Plan at each Meeting of the National Council. Appoint a delegate within the National Council to take leadership for driving the Strategic Plan.

Perform an annual review of the effectiveness in meeting this goal of the National Social Justice Committee and allied committees such as the Refugee, Asylum Seeker and Migrant Committee and the Mental Health and Homelessness Committee. Undertake research on specified social justice issues in accordance with the Social Justice Committee’s priorities. Provide support to State and Territory Councils to enable them to assist conferences to advocate more fully on behalf of those they assist. Initiate nation wide advocacy programs providing immediate positive solutions to national issues as they arise.
