S W A B A C K is a team of dedicated individuals providing services in hospitality, special case architectural design and planning, interior design, environmental and graphic design, and community development services. The firm was founded in 1978 and currently practices throughout the United States, Mexico, and the World. Inspired by an uncommon association with Frank Lloyd Wright and over 40 years of study and preparation, S W A B A C K was founded to create an Architectural and Planning practice which would provide individualized work for demanding clients. From the start, S W A B A C K set out to build an organization of sufficient depth to undertake very special projects. The result is an enviable group of clients including some of the most interesting organizations in the world. The experience of the firm has included a significant number of resorts, resort residential developments, hotels, restaurants, public and private clubs and spas. Additionally, the firm has a strong presence in custom residential design based strongly in sustainable building practices.

MONTGOMERY PLAZA Dallas, Texas SWABACK led the planning, entitlements and design for the redevelopment of the old Montgomery Ward building and the surrounding land areas. The plan called for the redevelopment of the historic building into urban condominiums surrounded by a mix of retail office and other urban housing options. All anchored by a new urban main street designed for walking and maximizing connectivity.

AMENITIES Amenities include a fitness center, 14 seat theater, and reserved parking within the building. A spectacular rooftop pool deck featuring a 66ft pool with reflecting pool, private poolside cabanas, heated spa, fire pits, outdoor dining and BBQ area create the largest condominium amenity in Texas.

The redesign called for the first two levels to become shops and restaurants. The remaining floors to be converted into condominiums, parking, and a roof top terrace.
