WHO WILL GUARD THE DELIGHT AND RESPECT OF MOTHER INDIA? Prof. C. I. Issac Part I

The menace of Fundamentalist Islam Mother India, in the prevailing socio-political situation of the nation, is subjected to the torments of the ordeals stacked by Maoists, Missionaries and Muslims [MMM]. In the ten thousand years of her history she had never faced such a multi-faceted molest from any corner as seen today. The present threat is entirely differed from the threats of premedieval and medieval as well as European encounters. It was only external, but the present is much differed and is guided with internal forces under the patronage of MMMs. All the anti-national tempo of the MMMs of the days is ending in the physical and cultural assaults over Hindu communities all over India. Pseudo-secularist political and cultural leadership of the day are attempting to put the Hindu community always in defense. Behind this phenomenon historians functions as the agenda setters. JNU and Aligarh historians now hijacked academic history and imparting a different historic evolution of Mother India‟s tradition to the youths of India which causes the birth of noncommitted generation. These scholarly exercises are, no doubt, the extension of distortion of our history that inducted by British Colonial interest under their hired historians like James Mill. As a result, a general social impression that evolved in the contemporary social life is that all the recent anti-Hindu enterprises and assaults over Hindus at various regions of India are the part progressive endeavors or the rise of subalterns against land-lordism, superstations, etc. As a result of the said academic conspiracy, the shameful and notorious Moplah Riot [1921] of Malabar was baptized as agrarian revolt and hence it turned out to be the part of our national movement. It is blameworthy that all the survived Muslim bigots who were participated in the Moplah Riot entitled to receive freedom fighters pension! The social approach of Islam, as a religion is anachronistic. The religion of Islam from its very inception has not treated all human beings as equals. The distinction between Muslims and non-Muslims or infidels is very strong even in modern times also. This differentiation has been repeated in passages after passages both in the Quran and subsequent texts and observed by Muslims as final all over the world. Therefore the holy texts of Islam justify annihilation of non-Muslims through jihad. So far the text is valid; a heaven seeking Muslim could not be a passive. Thus all hither to communal violence, the involvement of Islam could not be negated. For instance to the above citation, Bipan Chandra, the well known historian of contemporary India, who strives with a hidden agenda of justifying the inherent intolerance of Islam, remarks that “Communal tension and riots began to occur only from the last quarter of the nineteenth century. Moreover, they did not prevail in India on a significant scale till 1946-47” [Bipan Chandra, Communalism in Modern India, New -1-


Delhi, 2nd revised edition, rpt. 1996, p 4]. Furthermore he is attempting to hide and reverse Islam‟s inherent jihadist character that history had attested. He is attempting to over simplify and politicize all the excess of the Muslim intolerance including the Moplah Riot of Malabar. “Moreover, a communal riot left a certain emotional residue or legacy which could used later by the communal ideologue or palpitation. …….. communal riots and politics was established for the first time as late as 1946 when the Muslim League gave the direct action call on 16 August”. [Bipan Chandra, Ibid, pp 6, 56, 59, 192n, 248]. However, it is true that the history jihadist assault over the children of Mother India goes back to the days of 1192 Second Battle of Tarain. Let us sneak a look into such incidents took place in colonial and after phase. In 1714, 1715, 1716, 1750, 1850, 1892, 1927, 1941, 1945, 1958, 1969, and 1985 Ahmadabad had been subjected to communal violence. The said are the most significant Islam sponsored riots of Gujarat. In between 1714 and 1985 countless isolated and minor riots had taken place. The major loser in all these riots were unorganized Hindus. One cannot ignore the fact that during all these riots Gujarat had been reigning over either by Muslims, British or Congress. Communal riots took place on 11th August 1893 in Mumbai was one of the first major communal violence in modern India in which about one hundred people were killed and 800 were injured. New York Times reports: “So far few persons have been killed, although hundreds have been badly injured. Four Hindu temples have been utterly demolished and all their sacred emblems thrown out into the streets, where they were desecrated amid riotous scenes”. [New York Times 13th Aug 1893]. Muslim migrants from North India were behind this riot. In the mean time 665 years of Muslim regime over north virtually collapsed. In order to regain the Islamic sway once again over India, the fanatic Islam opted the path of jihad, hence the Mumbai Riot of 1893. The jihadists instilled with a primordial religious extremism that rendered them as a dangerous sect within the city since then. One who peep into the history of Islamic terrorism under the guise of jihad, it is very clear that the spread and sustainability of Islam laid its foundation on annihilation of non-Islamic faith and cultures. In the lexicon of Islam has no diction identical to toleration. However the present phase of Islamic terrorism rooted in the Wahabi Movement which ushered in by Abdul Wahab of Arabia [1703-62]. He called for the conversion of all Dar-ul-harabs [the world of kafirs or infidels] into Dar-ul-Islam [the world of Islam] through jihad and brings back the entire Islamic world into the sociopolitical system of Arabia which prevailed during the time Prophet. Sayed Ahamad of Rae Bareli [1786-1831], Sahah Waliulla of Delhi [1702-62] were represented Wahabi movement in India. This movement cultivated isolationist and separatist tendencies amongst the Indian Muslims and to a large extent this caused the backwardness of a section of Muslims in India. Even the architects of the constitution endorsed the introversion advocated by the fundamentalist elements of the Indian Muslims through the suppression of the concept of Common Civil Code for all the citizens irrespective of their religious attachment. According to the Article 44 of the Constitution “The state shall endeavour to secure for the citizens a uniform civil code throughout the territory of India”. But those who are responsible for the fulfillment of the said Article closed their

eyes. In short the ruling dynasty of India is responsible for the present Islamic impediments of India. Some notorious Wahabi impacts over the personal and religious freedom are the following. Between 1894 and 1896 Ottoman Emperor Sultan Abdul Hammeed executed 1,50,000 Christians on religious reasons. In 1675 Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb burned up Guru Tej Bahadoor and a number of Sikhs alive. The data relating to his [Hindu] homicide is not fully available. Between 1843 and 1846, 10,000 Assyrian Christians were killed by its Muslim ruler. In the course of 1971 and 1979 the Ugandan dictator Idi Ameen killed 2,80,000 innocents. In 1971 Pakistan killed 3 million Hindus of Bangladesh. In 1980-2000 Sadham Hussein of Iraq killed 40,000 Kurds. In between 1990 and 2001 about 25,000 Indians were killed in India by the Islamic terrorism. Usually, the Indian pseudo-secularist intelligentsia is by and large attributing the sin of contemporary Islamic violence as the Muslim reaction to the destruction of the disputed structure at Ayodhya. Israel and Ayodhya are the two jargons keeping alive by the pseudo-secularists. Hither to the native Hindu society is not well aware of the chronology of jihadist atrocities over the Hindu brethrens since 1714, after the virtual collapse of Mughal glory. According to the Global Terrorism Database, India had faced more than 4,100 terrorist attacks of all types between 1970 and 2004, and it accounting for more than 12,000 fatalities. The database is maintained by the University of Maryland and the US National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism [START]. These fatalities peaked in 1991 and 1992, and then 1,184 and 1,132 individuals [respectively] were killed in such incidents, a University of Maryland statement said. These figures are on the lower side as official figures in India put the toll at around 70,000 deaths [START]. The present line of anti-Hindu operations started with Aligarh Riots of 1950, 1956, 1961 and 1978. Subsequently on 30th of January 1971 an Indian Airlineâ€&#x;s Plane bound Srinagar to Jammu was high jacked by Muslim terrorists Hashim Quershi and Ashraf Quershi and landed at Lahore. On 2nd February they set fire to the Indian aircraft with its mail bags. With the blessings of the then Pakistan regime all the heinous drama was staged in the Lahore Air-port. More than seven similar hijacks were taken place in India in the subsequent years. This discussion will not be complete without mentioning particularly of the last Islamic Terrorist Attack on Mumbai, the Economic Capital of India. Before it let us see the evolution of Mumbai as an Islamic jihad target. In a short span of 15 years since 1993 thirteen attacks were taken place in the financial capital of Mother India. 12th March -3-


1993 witnessed 13 blast across the city and it resulted in the death of 27 and 713 were injured. The bomb blast of 28th August 1997 near Jama Masjid fortunately had inflicted injury to three persons only. Similar one was the 24th January 1998 at Malad, which injured only one person. Even though there was no death it was sufficient to generate insecurity feeling in a society. On 27th February 1998 a blast was taken place at Virar that caused the death of 9 persons. The explosion of 2nd December 2002 at Ghatokpar resulted in the death of 3 and 31 were injured. Another one in the same month was of 6th December 2002 at the Central Railway Station in which 25 were fatally injured. In the next year on 27th January 2003 a blast was taken place at Vile Parle and it resulted in the death of one person and casualties to 25. Exactly after 44 days another one was taken place at Mulund Railway Station on 13th March 2003 and it wiped-out 11 and awarded injuries to 80. Next one was on 14th April 2003 at Bandra and resulted in the death of one. Again on 29th July 2003 Ghatkopar witnessed a blast which snatch off the life of three and fatal injuries were awarded to 34. Furthermore on 25th August 2003 the Gateway of India and Zaveri-Bazar witnessed another bomb blast that resulted in the loss of 50 lives and 150 injuries. In short during 2003 the Mumbaiwallas, subjected to five ordeals of jihadists. On 11th July 2006 seven blasts were taken place at seven different locations in Local Trains across the city caused the death of 181and injuries to 890. During 27th, 28th & 29th of September 2008 witnessed Pakistani national Kasab and party‟s atrocious Thandava at Taj Hotel, Trident Hotel, Nariman House and CST Railway Station which caused the death of 183 including senior security personals and inflicted injuries to 295. Another latest one in Maharashtra was 13th February 2010 at German Bakery of the Pune City. This blast killed seventeen and injured sixty. This was the first major one since 26th November 2008 Mumbai attacks. It is proved that the story of humiliation of Mother India will not end with Kasab. It is the Indian paradox that so far no human rights organizations come forward to the cause of 472 innocents who lost their today, not of their fault, or 2242 injured in the streets of Mumbai in a short period of fifteen years. But all such organizations are still queuing up behind Afsal Guru, the convict in the 13th December 2001‟s attack on the Indian Parliament Complex in New Delhi, which cause the death of seven or Kasab the condemn in the 27th, 28th and 29th mass homicide carnival of Mumbai. This absurdity would not be tolerated by any other country in the world other than ours. The South, particularly Tamilnadu and Kerala, are exceptions and comparatively a peaceful area for a long period. However, now due to the petro-dollar boom, atmosphere was totally transformed. Now the environment is tailored to fit for the spread of jihadist enterprises. Landed properties in the Strategic and key centers of the cities and sea coasts are under the possession of minorities and terrorist organizations. Financial source behind the purchase of these lands were hawala money and counterfeits from Pakistan. Above all these two states now turned as the laboratory of Islamic jihad and Christian proselytizing agencies. „Love jihad‟ and „employment jihad‟ -4-


are the two new products launched here to fulfill the cause of Dar-ul- Islam. The first product is intended to trap non-Muslim girls to proselytize through love making by trained Muslim youths; similarly the other is to trap unemployed non-Muslim youths. Recently on 4th July 2010 right hand of a 53 year old Christian college professor at Thodupuzha in Iduki district of Kerala was chopped off by Muslim fundamentalists on a charge of blasphemy. Police had found that it was the implementation of the verdict of the Sha.ri.‘ah Court run by the Muslim fundamentalist elements in Kerala. It is found that such fourteen parallel courts are running in Kerala for the last twenty years. State‟s Home Minister Com. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has been confessed that since 1993 so far 22 murders were taken place under the direction of Sha.ri.‘ah Courts in Kerala. [Mangalam Daily, Kottayam, 21 July 2010]. Ninety five percent of the victims of the ongoing Islamaization [the process of making Kerala a Dar-ul-Islam] of Kerala were Hindu youths. The follow up action from the police in the case of the recent chopping of the hand of a professor was that the victim was a Christian. If the victim was a Hindu the destiny of the case may be an air-drawn affair. All these Talibanism in the state had uninterruptedly grown under the unseen patronage and open policy of minority appeasement projects of Marxist Party and Congress. The beginning of the contemporary sequence of Islamic hooliganism with the patronage of mainstream political parties in Kerala goes back to the days of Ramasimhan‟s assassination. It is interesting to verify the pages of history to see how far Muslim bigots are getting agitated when a Muslim is missed from their faith. In 1946 one Muslim named Unnian Saheb [after his conversion to Hinduism he received the name Ramasimhan] of Calicut [Angadippuram of Perinthalmanna] in Malabar and his family returned to their poorva dharma [Hinduism]. The Muslim bigots got agitated and a mad mob of Moplahs [Muslims of this region is called so] brutally exterminated Ramasimhan and his family as an admonition to all who wish to return to their roots. Then all political parties including the Marxist Party under its self-styled revolutionary leader Mr. EMS Namboothirippadu attempted to misdirect the police investigation in order to save the culprits from the purview of law of the land [for further information, see EMS’s Selected Works, Mal, Vol. VII, pp 356-7]. In this affair jihadists were successful. So thereafter they [political parties of Kerala] continue the same minority appeasement policy without much difference. Let us see the jihadist major designs of Tamilnadu. RSS HQs [Chennai] attack of 1993 and the Coimbatore blasts of 1998 , are two major operations of jihadists in Tamilnadu. One thing is very clear that the targeted societies of these Pan-Islamic movements are Hindus. The reality is that between 1993 and 1998 there have been several terror attacks; let us cite a few: Nagore blast of 4th of July 1995 resulted in the death of DalitHindu activist‟s wife. The target of the 18th May 1996 blast was Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple. TMMK leader Naina Mohammed and Sait Saheb, Raja Hussain and Fakrudin were arrested. On 6th June 1997 jihadist blasted a bomb in the Doordarshan Kendra‟s Thanjavur office. On 6th December 1997 bombs exploded in Coimbatorebound Cheran Express, Madurai-bound Pandiyan Express and Chennai-Alapuzha Express. On 10th January 1998, a bomb was exploded at Anna Flyover in the heart of Chennai city. On 18th September 1997, five Hindu activists were murdered in different -5-


places; three fundamentalists were arrested. On 9th December 1997, a cycle bomb exploded in Coimbatore suburb killing three women; Sultan Nazar and Abdul Quayum were arrested. A series of bomb explosions occurred within 20 months prior to the Coimbatore blasts of 14th February 1998. It caused the death of 50 people and injured more than 150 persons. Coimbatore blasts were targeted against LK Advani. But he escaped miraculously. The prime accused in the bomb blast is Abdul Nasser Madhani. The paradox is that Madhani is still glittering in the political horizon of Kerala and an acceptable figure equally to the ruling and opposition coalitions. Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh are also the destinations of terrorist attacks. Let us go through some vital incidents. On 28 th December 2005, terrorists belongs to LeT carried out an attack inside the Indian Institute of Science Campus in Bangalo oru, Karnataka and it resulted in the death of one scientist and injuring five others. Another one was 2008 Bangalooru serial blasts of 25th July 2008. Nine bombs were exploded in the city and which caused the death of two and injuries to twenty. The Times of India has reported that either the banned organization, Students Islamic Movement of India [SIMI] or the militant organization LeT could be behind these blasts. It is interesting that this was followed by another serial blasts at Ahmadabad on 26 th July 2008. Two powerful blasts in Hyderabad on 25th August 2007 had taken the life of forty people and several injured. Of the two bombs one at an amusement park packed with weekend holiday celebrators and another at a popular eatery shop in the heart of the city. The demand for Telungana State, no doubt, is the brain child of fundamentalist Islam. No doubt, it will be another Malappuram in Andhra Pradesh. The forces behind the division of Andhra are dreaming to reinstate the forgone days of Nizamâ€&#x;s regime. The greatest irony is that so far no Islamic organization or Communists or pseudosecularist intelligentsia comes forward to scorn the act of Islamic terrorists. Above all, several of the said categories of intellectuals are running NGOs under the guise of human rights, women rights, nature protection, etc with the generous funding from some mysterious sources. From Kashmir to Kerala these pseudo-Messiahs of civil rights justifying terrorism and criticizing the counter measures from the part of police. Thus on several critical occasions they themselves incarnate in the society as the shelter providers of extremists. Since the days of independence the ruling family at the centre [New Delhi] is very particular to appease the minorities. The result was the shameful addition of Article 370 in the Indian Constitution which provides extraordinary status to the State of Jammu and Kashmir. In fact this Article generally ridicules all the Indian and particularly its Hindu aborigines. They were impoverished and drove away from their home land. Thus they remain as refugees in their mother country for more than fifty years. Likewise the successors of the Nehru dynasty supplemented more and more to appease the minorities that ultimately preparing ground for another 1947 vivisection of Mother India. The history of Muslim intolerance sets in motion in Kerala with Moplah riot of 26th November 1836. [William Logan, Malabar Manuel, first published in 1887, Kozhikode, Mal. Trans 1985, p 636]. Between 1836 and 1853 the Eranadu and the Valluvanadu -6-


Taluks [present day Malappuram district] of British Malabar had witnessed more than 22 Moplah Riots [A. Sreedhara Menon, A Survey of Kerala History, Kottayam, 1970, p 346]. Hundreds of such riots had been occurred before the major outbreak of 1921. It was the outcome of Mysorian Invasions, which brought the curse of Islamic religious fanaticism and intolerance to Malabar region of Kerala. The common characteristic of all the Moplah Riots was murder of Hindus and desecration of temples. Thousands of Hindus were butchered on the lap of Mother India since 1836. The 1921 Riot was monstrous one in the history of Kerala. The Report of the Enquiry Committee of the Servants of India Society stated that about 1,500 Hindus were murdered and over 20,000 were forcibly converted to Islam. The molestation and abduction of Hindu women was seemingly endless. Dr. Annie Besant, a widely respected thinker, stated: “They [Moplahs] murdered and plundered abundantly, and killed or drove away all Hindus who would not apostatise. Somewhere about a lakh [100,000] of people were driven from their homes with nothing but their clothes they had on, stripped of everything.........Malabar has taught us what Islamic rule still means, and we do not want to see another specimen of the Khilafat Raj in India”. Currently fanaticism acquired a secular mask under the emerging equations of the prevailing democratic setup of our country. A recent confession of the Chief Minister [V. S. Achutanandan] of Kerala is a sufficient testimony to secularism in its defacto attire. He said, Muslim and Christian communalism is growing alarmingly in the state. [Mangalam daily, 2nd June 2010]. Ruling and opposition parties are equally responsible for the unprecedented growth of communalism in the state. Communist [Marxist] party is the main culprit for the manure of “communal identity politics” in the state. “Identity politics” is nothing but a jargon which identifies society in a fragmented way on the sensational space such as religion, sub-nationality, language, gender, jati, etc. Chief Minister confesses before the media persons that “Identity politics” was nothing but a refined version of communal politics”. [The Hindu, Kochi, 2 nd June 2010]. V. S. Achutanandan, Chief Minister of Kerala, is now washing his hands after fostering minority communalism for more than four decades. CPM from its very beginning believed that India is the conglomeration of seventeen nationalities. That is why they supported Pakistan. Even after the partition of India, CPM had strongly believed in the old stand. [EMS Namboothirippadu, the Messiah of Indian Communist Party [M], Chinta Weekly, 18th October 1987]. In 1947 the same communist party strongly supported the Moplahstan Resolution [a separate Dar-ul-Islam in Kerala – the present day Malppuram district] in the Madras Provincial Assembly. The same party asked its Muslim comrades to join in the Muslim League [Deshabimani daily, the mouthpiece of Communist Party, 28th October 1947]. Now Kerala is posturing as a paradise of Islamic jihadist organization all over the world owing to its extraordinary political climate. Thus they use it as the hatchery of panIslamic jihad. Hence now it functions as fertile region of cadets for jihad is no more a secret. Let us examine some landmarks of communal atrocities in the soil of God‟s Own Country. The bomb blast in the Thrissur bound train on 6th December, 1997 was a new turn in the path of jihadists‟ enterprises of Kerala. The case registered for hijacking and torching of Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation bus from NH 47 near Cochin during the nightfall of 1st September 2005, to demand Madhani‟s release from Coimbatore jail, was put in mortuary until Nazeer‟s arrest by Karnataka police. But the information from Karnataka police forced Kerala Home Ministry to arrest the chief culprit, Sufia Madhani [Sufia], wife of Abdul Nasser Madhani. Hence police approach to the accused Sufia was soft. Her arrest, remand, etc are the part of a preplanned puppet play of the State Government. On 2nd of May 2003, nine Hindus were killed by fanatic Muslim mob at Maradu sea coast near Kozhikode. The revelations of LeT leader Tahdiantavide Nazir relating to the Maradu Riot [nine Hindus fishermen were brutally killed by Muslim fanatics] after his arrest by Karnataka police was a shocking one. Before the Hindu demand for CBI enquiry the eyes of both political coalitions of Kerala were closed. Thus the Hindus demand for CBI investigation of the Maradu homicide turned down as a cry in the wilderness, as usual. Once, the protection of 650 km long sea-coast of Kerala was the inherited duty of Hindu fishermen jatis. Anti-national forces who masqueraded under the secular credentials of the so called monotheistic religions realized the strategic importance of the seashore of Kerala. To them the transformation of the prevailing social setup in the coastline is essential. Since 1960 these religious groups indulged in the task of cultural cleansing through proselytism. The result is that about 65 km of shoreline of Kerala starting from Ponnani to Beypore has no Hindu fishermen hamlet. This sea coast, now, acquired notoriety for its anti-national connections is no more a secret. The said Maradu carnage was the outcome of the ongoing international Islamic schema of cultural cleansing of Indian coastline. All these are going on with the blessings of the ruling and the opposition is the irony of the state of art of the affair. Now India‟s 7516.5 km coastline is not free from the threat of Semitic cultural invasion. Unfortunately the ruling party‟s bridles are in the hands of servile dependents of the Semitic hierarchy. Until four Malayalee Muslim youths, who were recruited by Islam sponsored terrorist groups of Kerala to train for jihad in the LeT run terrorist camps of Pakistan, were gunned down in October 2008 by security forces, while attempting to cross the international border at Lolab valley in Kupwara district of Kashmir. The politicians and a section of Malayalam media popularized that the spread of Islamic terrorism in Kerala is the handiwork of vested interest groups until this incident. But time has revealed the foul play. Once an influential section of Kerala countered that the Malayalee Muslim convert, Javed‟s involvement on the life of Narendra Modi, CM of Gujarat, on 15th November 2004, as a fake story. A poetess of Kerala not forgets to compose an elegy which exalts Javed. The Gujarat police had gunned down four terrorists belonged to Laskar-e-Taiba including a Mumbai woman Ishrat Jahan in Ahmadabad. They targeted Modi‟s life. One among the four was a Malayalee Hindu Nair named Pranesh who converted to Islam [his Muslim name was Javed]. Those attempted to picture Javed and Ishrat Jahan as the martyrs sneaked from the scene when the reports of NIA‟s interrogation of Islamic terrorist David Coleman Headley [Daood Sayed Gilani] under FBI‟s custody. disclosed to NIA team that “Ishrat Jahan, the Mumbai girl who was killed along with three alleged terrorists in 2004 in a police encounter, was indeed a Lashkar-e-Taiba fidayeen. Ishrat, a resident of Mumbra in Thane, was recruited by top Lashkar commander Muzammil who was in charge of LeT's operations in India till 2007”. [Times of India, 6th July 2010]. It is the paradox of the day is that traitors and spies operate in the society as advocates‟ of human rights. Thus they make hue and cry when a terrorist is gunned down by security forces and keep silence when hundreds of innocent civilians are subjected to the terrorists‟ ruthlessness in the streets. The extent of Islamic intolerance crossed all frontiers of modern secularist and pluralistic co-existence. Now the extent of Islamic vandalism over Hindus society is unprecedentedly very high. The main reason behind this tempo is the uninterrupted flow of petro-dollar through legitimate and unlawful channels. NIA had recently found that from officers to constable of the Kerala state police receiving alimony from terrorist organizations. Thus the Islamic fundamentalist elements exercise all its weapons from their weaponry and its strategic application in the form of „four tactics‟ [conciliation, gift giving, coercion, punishment]. Of one is to train the Muslim youths to shoot the arrows of Kamadeva [Cupid] on non-Muslim girls who studies in professional colleges. Usual preys to love hunters are Hindu girls, because they are religiously not organized so far. For this some Islamic organizations are training, preparing and funding Muslim youths to trap nonMuslim girls and proselytize under the guise of love. Now it continues in the country unabatedly. Judicial attempt to counter the growing menace of love jihad did not produced desired results. Recent developments prove that our existing judicial mechanism is not sufficiently competent to protect Hindu faith and life. Muslims of India are governed by Sha.ri.‘ah laws which ridicule our judiciary. It was due to the fundamental failure of governments since 1947. They forgot to introduce a Common Civil Code due to their minority religious appeasement policies. That is why the destiny of Indian Muslims pivoting around 1300 years old social dogma. of fatwas. All the fatwas are against the true spirit of Indian constitutional mechanism. For instance may I quote some recent irrational and anachronistic fatwas which challenge the sovereignty of our nation: “Muslim women to work in government or private institutions where men and women work together, and women have to talk frankly with men without veil, the disguised judicial mechanism of Sha.ri.‘ah, is declared as unlawful by the fatwa”. [The New Indian Express, Kochi, 14th May 2010]. Another fatwa issued by Darul Ifta Department of Darul Uloom Seminary of Deoband which forbade Muslims from employment in Insurance firms and taking policies. Earlier the same seminary issued another fatwa which prohibits Muslims working in commercial banks where writing and calculating interest. [The New Indian Express, Kochi, 15th May 2010]. That is why with the support of Kerala Government, fundamentalist elements in the Kerala Muslim society moved to start a parallel banking system according to the Sha.ri.‘ah [Islamic] law. Nobody in the state of Kerala had shown enough courage to challenge the State Government sponsored Islamization of Indian banking system. Dr. Subramaniah Swamy comes to the rescue of the fossilizing Hindu society of Kerala. He brought the matter before the High Court of Kerala. The Division Bench of Kerala High court headed by Chief Justice S.R. Bannurmath and Justice Thottathil B. Radhakrishnan passed the interim direction on 5th January 2010 on a public interest writ petition moved by Janata Party leader Subramaniah Swamy challenging a government order which sanction for the registration of an Islamic Banking Company by the Kerala State Industrial Corporation and some Islamic fundamentalist elements. The court observed that operate a bank on the basis of Sha.ri.‘ah Law is the violation of the Reserve Bank of India [RBI] guidelines. On 20th of May 2010 D. Subbarao, the Governor of Reserve Bank of India, said at Thiruvanthapuram that “the present banking laws not permitting to run a bank according to Sha.ri.‘ah laws. Separate legislation is essential for starting such banks in India”. Courageous resistance and vigil of the Hindu society is essential to bridle our political leadership from making enactments for the easy walkover of the Pan-Islamic jihadist designs. Jihad of the new millennium masqueraded variously in love marriages, charity, literature, political parties, dalit protection, human rights, etc and it terrorizing the common man through the cult of bomb, implementation of Sha.ri.‘ah Law, and so on. Now the four expedients [Chatirupaayam- saamam, dhaanam, bhetam, dhannam] of the jihad‟s operational mechanism, such as „love jihad‟ to the cult of bomb, freely operates by taking the benefits of Hindu weakness. In the mean time, the „ruling dynasty‟ of India is dancing according to the interests of minorities. The earliest of this kind was the incorporation of minority rights [Article 29 &30] in the constitution which really helped the alienation of religious minorities from the main stream. Correspondingly the incorporation of Article 370 relating to the special status to Jammu and Kashmir is the part of the Muslim appeasement policy of Nehru. Still it hangs over the head of one billion Hindus as the sword of Damocles. From the betrayal of Tibetans to the destruction of the Hindu identity of Nepal, no doubt, is clear diplomatic and strategic folly of the Nehruvian dynasty. It extends to minority education commission, various scholarships to minority girls, the in-exhaustive sanctions of Sachhar and Ranganatha Mishra Commissions, etc. In Kerala a „bonus commission‟ was appointed in order to pour more to the Muslim minority. This commission was headed by a cabinet minister Paloli Muhammedkutty. The members of the committee were from the notorious jihadists [Popular Front]. The appointment of this commission was with the blessings of opposition and ruling Front. Furthermore, the frontiers of Indian secularism, in terms of its “double dealing”, are resting up on the vote-bank of minorities. Taslima Nasrin, 48 year old Bangladeshi novelist, is humiliated in India for that she entered in the Indian frontiers of „freedom of expression‟ through her novel Lajja. What is Lajja? It has thump-nailed the bitterest scenario of encounters of the contemporary Hindu society of Bangladesh for the survival. She had shown courage to extend compassion to the cause of ever shrinking Hindus of her country. It is the irony that the genuine cause of Hindu is not comeing under the purview of Indian secularists. On account of this novel she was in exile since 1994. Thus Hyderabad witnessed an attempt on her life on 9th August 2007 under the leadership of MLAs of AP Legislative Assembly. The foolproof Indian criminal administration turned blind and deaf over this incident. On 17 th August 2007 Kolkata Muslim Clergies issued fatwa against her life. Once again Islamic fundamentalism challenged Indian constitution through this fatwa. The content of the fatwa was criminal in character and the local police can easily put them behind the bars. But not happened so, because she represented the cause of Hindus of Bangladesh. Finally, the unashamed Indian leadership expelled her from India in 2008 and now sheltered by Sweden. Another example for the defacto secularism of Indian is Salman Rushdie‟s encounter. Once again Indian Regime proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that any buffoon can humiliate the Hindu spiritual and cultural signs; but not a trace of it is applicable to the religious minorities. His novel The Satanic Verse [1988] banned in India. BBC reports that “he feels hurt and humiliated by India, the country of his birth”. For whom he was humiliated? He says, “he cannot visit India or even enter Indian building overseas”.[BBC interview 10th October 1998]. Before concluding this treatise I would like to cite the past time of an eminent citizen, whose name was once recommended for Bharatharatna and honoured with Raja Ravivarma Award of Government of Kerala, Mr. M. F. Husain. His mischievous paintings of Hindu gods and goddess in nudity are the best example for the Islamic hooliganism over Hindu culture and its one billion plus custodians. He is still contemptuous even to our nation. He proved through his creation “Rape of Mother India” which appeared as the part of an advertisement in India Today issue of 6 th February 2006. Husain, no doubt, is a devout Islam. Yes he was silent on the issue of cartoon representation of Prophet which appeared in Danish news paper Jyllands-Post on 30th September 2005. Mr. Husain, is the Danish news paper‟s cartoon come under the purview of freedom of expression? If he is secular and enjoys in caricaturing gods and goddess in nudity; why can‟t he to place the divine aspects of his religion, including the Prophet in nudity? Why not Prophet‟s caricature in full attire? The answer is simple that he is waging another type of jihad to annihilate infidels in India. So far no Muslim - 11 -


organizations come forward to censure Husain‟s perverted artistic creation or its inspiration. At the same time, a section in India and abroad are justifying Husain's mischievous endeavor in the name of secularism and freedom expression. During February 2010 he accepted the Qatar [UAE] citizenship with pleasure. Mr. Husain, being the citizen of Qatar, do you ready to pencil in a picture of any one wife of the Prophet? No you can‟t do it. Mr. Husain, if you come forward to sketch it you can‟t see the next dawn of Qatar. Yes Husain, Aha!, it is possible only in India! Now the Islamic fanaticism breached all the frontiers of secular living in Kerala. Now they openly demanded an exclusive Dar-ul-Islam in Kerala. It was hatched out by a jihadist organization called Militia Malabar Mujahid based on Karachi, Pakistan. Their demand is the creation of a Muslim State by dividing Kerala [Rashtra Deepika, Kottayam, 14th August 2009]. The proposed new Muslim state will be comprised of four Muslim majority districts of Kerala. The anticipated state will be governed with Sha.ri.‘ah laws. This is not much differed from the British proposal of 1905 for a Muslim Province by dividing Bengal on communal lines. Then abortive venture [Kalakoodam] of British was gradually grown and finally ended in the partition of India in 1947. The pan-Islamic plan of building Dar-ul-Islam over Hindustan now raised its hood [fana] of the Islamic serpent from Kerala. Now the political and economic situation of Kerala is pleasing to jihadist enterprises. All this appeasement policies of the power-mongering politicians of Kerala and elsewhere in India will invite irrecoverable disasters to the Mother India. India has a coastline of 7516.5km. India has 1197 islands and it has a coastline of 2094 km. Thus the total coastline is 9610 km. Out of it Kerala borders 580 km. The 580 km of unchecked strategically sensitive international boarder - that is the Kerala coastline - is the chief attraction of the Muslim fanatics of Kerala and ISI. Above all since the beginning of the history this international boarder was protected by its Hindu fishermen communities. Now the ongoing and long duration conspiracy of proselytism through persecution, allurement and annihilation, the Hindu fishermen are eliminated from most part of the coastal regions of Kerala. The remaining Hindu fishermen are not economically or politically strong enough to withstand the challenges posed by the PanIslamic forces of Kerala. If the rest of the Hindus take this Islamic cancerous strategy of ethnical cleansing at its true perspective the Kerala model jihadist experiment may further extend to rest of our coast. So the politicians‟ competitive soaps of pension, scholarships, job reservations, etc going on in Kerala will invite another blood bath of division along with the annihilation of its Hindu life. It is the time to react the entire India in one voice against these improper dealings of at least its national labeled political parties. May I propose a little change to text of the 19th century call of Swami Vivekananda as: “these Malabari politicians are to be treated with derision by every patriotic society of India until they end their minority appeasement at the expense of the majority Hindu community”. Furthermore a recent suicidal endeavor from the part of Muslim University of Aligarh once Jinnah remarked that “the arsenal of Pakistan in India” - is that to establish its Centers in strategic locations of India. They identified Kerala as the fertile soil for their - 12 -


goal. Thus the Kerala Government offered one thousand acres of land for the endeavor Aligarh University with pleasure. The location of the centre of this university is in the den of Muslim fundamentalism that is in Malappuram. So far the competent authorities at centre have not taken any appropriate step to curb the designs of the Aligarh University and conveniently they are evading from the issue. The venture of the University is against the existing laws. The ongoing democratic process and practice of appeasement of religious minorities for short term political gains is universally accepted as the essential condition of Indian democratic practices. That is why Muslim League, the party which divided India in 1947 on communal lines, secured a berth in the Cabinet of divided India. No doubt it is seditious act of the ruling family. They are not aware of the price that the Hindus once paid to secure and sustain its integrity and freedom. Besides it, those political magnets who lack far-sight are appointing commissions in order to appease religious minorities more and more which aggravate communal divide in the contemporary India. Of the best example is Mandal Commission, Sachar Committee, Misra Commission, etc. Kerala government is moving far-ahead Narendran Commission and all jihadists Paloli Committee. Contemporary India is well aware of the lack of honesty behind the appointment of such commissions. Conversely the jihadist appeasing-political-setup of Kerala never spoils any chance occasionally crop up. For instance, the Government of Kerala recently decided to contribute a relief of Rs. 50/- million to the flood affected Pakistanis. Even though Pakistanis are reluctant to accept the Indian relief even from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, the Muslim jihadist appeasing political mechanism of Kerala is well ahead. “Perhaps this would be the first time that the State Government is providing financial assistance to a foreign country”. [The New Indian Express, Kochi, 14 September 2010]. In short the Hindus are the only race in modern times subjected to discrimination and deprival in their mother land. The only panacea to the ailment is to recite together and act accordingly of the manthra of Kathopanishad, “Uthishtata Jagrata Prapya Varan Nibidhata”. [Awake, arise, and react properly].

Part II

The Threat of Missionary Christianity as a religion as well as social entity in India ensured its notable presence only after the European Mercantile and Colonial endeavours. According to Ward and Conner even after two centuries of the birth of Christianity the number of Christian population in the Malabar Coast [i.e. Kerala] shrank into eight families [Ward, Lieut. and Conner, The Survey of Travancore and Cochin States, Trivandrum, 1863, p 146]. It is an accepted fact that Southern Kerala Coast provided room for the earliest Christian settlements in India. The traditional Christian and Muslim antagonism had forbidden the Christians from settling down north of Kodungallor, where Persian and Arab Muslim merchants dominated the coastal trading centers. Further in the European period Christianity spread its nets elsewhere in India. C. M. Augur, remarks that the Christians in Travancore and Cochin regions were only a marginal community confined to a few port towns before the arrival of Europeans. For that reason during this period the churches in Kerala were very few in numbers and could be counted on fingers. Hence, - 13 -


since the arrival of Portuguese till the early decades of the nineteenth century here in Kerala there were only less than three hundred Christian churches for all denominations [C. M. Augur, The Church History of Travancore, 1902, Kottayam, pp 7, 8, 9]. G. T. Mackenzie observes that Christians prior to the arrival of the Portuguese, not forms the part of Travancore aristocracy. [G. T. Mackenzie, Christianity in Travancore, Govt. Press, Trivandrum, 1901, p 8]. The Christian population altogether in Travancore and Cochin during the early decades of the 19th century CE was 35,000 with 55 churches. [Ward, Lieut. and Connor, The Survey of Travancore and Cochin States, Trivandrum, 1863, pp 146 & 147]. Even after two centuries of the birth of Christianity the number of Christian population in the Malabar Coast shrank into eight families. [Ward, Lieut. and Connor, op cit, p 146]. Now Christianity in India at a short duration of six decades reached 2.34 percent of 1.1 billion of Indians. It is not the outcome of any miracles but of the aggressive evangelization programme that was ushered in by Francis Xavier some four hundred and sixty years ago and still continues unabatedly. Thus it carved out a strong base for the Roman Catholic Church in India and now it functions with population of 1,75,49,218. Protestantism has at present carved out another 38,18,574 C.S.I Christians and 2,92,315 Salvation Army Christians from the Hindus of the four South Indian states. In addition to it several Christian groups altogether retains six million plus in their nomenclature. The Christian population is now politically and economically a decisive factor not only in Kerala and North Easter region but even at Indraprasta [New Delhi] also. The virtual beginning of the Church in India as elsewhere in the Christian countries bears the blot of sin of the pagan [pagan in the Abrahamic religious point of view] bloodshed. Padre Francis Xavier, the first Christian chauvinist of India, was the architect of Inquisition in Goa. The establishment of Inquisition Court, burning of heathen [Hindu] women and children and forcible conversion of the natives ushered in here with him in the seventeenth century. Later this „human brute‟ was declared as the Saint of the Catholic Church by Vatican. What was the hidden agenda behind this derogatory step of the Pontiff? The marginal group of aborigine Christians before the European arrival regarded their faith as another path, as well as an upasana [worship] system of the Hindu main stream. Thus it had not functioned as a distinct religion until the Synod of 1559. Even the names of the native Christians were Hindu such as Chathan, Kotha, Iravi, Kandan, etc. After the Portuguese arrival, a large-scale aggressive proselytizing movement started in Kerala under the stewardship of a padre called Francis Xavier. His eight-year stay in South India changed the entire course of its history. In a short period, he was able to enhance the numerical strength of India‟s Christian population. He was not much different from Mohammed Ghazini or Aurangazeb or Tippu Sultan in the space of proselytizing enterprise. Francis Xavier was the man solely responsible for the establishment of the Inquisition Court at Goa in 1560, under which Hindu women were raped and burnt alive and Hindu temples were demolished. St. Francis Xavier, after whom many educational institutions are named in India, feverishly declared: “When I have finished baptizing the people, I order them to destroy the huts in which they keep their idols; and I have them break the statues of their idols into tiny pieces, since they are now Christians. I could never come to an end describing to you the great - 14 -


consolation which fills my soul when I see idols being destroyed by the hands of those who had been idolaters,” [From the Letters and Instructions of Francis Xavier, 1993, pp117-8] The history of temple annihilation in Kerala goes back to the days of Portuguese missionary enterprises of Travancore and Cochin. It acquired a pragmatic colour in the Malabar regions during the time of Mysorian invasions of Hyder and Tippu. The first organized plundering and destruction of temples in Kerala took place in the sixteenth century under the Portuguese politico-evangelical enthusiasm. The first prey of this intolerance was the temples at Thevalakkara in Quilon district and Palluruthi near Cochin. The fertile Malayattoor Hills near the birthplace of Jagadh Guru Sankaracharya was occupied by Catholics and constructed a church initially by planting a wooden-cross in 1938. The present day Malayattoor Kurisu-Mudi Church was constructed on the debris of an old Siva Temple. This old temple was known as Kurinchi-mudi temple. In the Sangam period, South India was divided broadly as five Tinais [Ayin-tinais] explicitly on topographic basis such as Kurinchi, Mullai, Palai, Marutham, and Neithal. Kurinchi Tinai was the term used in the Sangam literature to denote hilly and mountainous regions. The word Mudi in the old Malayalam language stands for peak of a mountain. After the occupation of the site of an age-old Hindu temple the Church and subsequently linked this place with St. Thomas legend and renamed it as Kurisu-Mudi [peak of cross]. In the beginning this millennium Pontiff arbitrarily declared it as a pilgrim centre of the Catholics all over by breaching legitimate sovereignty of Government of India. The same Christian forces, which claim the tradition of Francis Xavier, set fire to of the famous Shasta Temple of Sabari Hills in 1950 May-June. By taking the inactive nature of then Hindus of Kerala the actual culprits escaped from the force of law. After two decades the recouped Hindu forces defused foul stratagem of the Catholics to occupy a Hindu temple at Matrumala near Kottayam in the sixties of the last century. Similarly on 23rd March 1983 the Church made another futile attempt to occupy the forest land by „planting a cross‟ in the holy garden [grove] of the Shasta Temple. This time Hindu consciousness awakened and defused Church‟s malicious designs over Sabari Hills. Response of Vijayanagar to proselytism enterprises of Francis Xavier It is 500th year of Krishan Deva Raya‟s, the celebrated ruler of Vijayanagar, coronation. Thus it is relevant to examine Vijayanagara Empire‟s commitment to Hindu religion and culture. Let us see an example: Kerala, during the Portuguese period, witnessed an extensive massacre and large scale temple and mosque destruction. Jews of Kerala for the first time in their Indian life subjected to religious persecution during this time. It was really sponsored by Catholic intolerance. The Muslims were not spared. The native Arabic historical treatise Tuhaft-ul-Mujahidin compiled by Shaik Zainuddin sated with references to large scale atrocities over Muslim communities of Malabar by the Catholics. The Vira Kerala Varma [1544-45] of Venad [an ancient princely state of Kerala] extended all facilities to the missionary activities of Francis Xavier in his territory. Vijayanagar, the only powerful Hindu kingdom of the time, objected to Francis Xavier‟s - 15 -


proselytism projects and warned the Venad king, but the king followed his lukewarm approach towards conversion efforts of the Catholic Christian Missionaries. The result was the attack and occupation of Venad by Vijayanagar army under Ramaraya Vithala. He further moved to Suchindram and constructed the famous gopuram [tower-cumgate] of the Siva-Vishnu-Brahma Temple of Suchindram in the present day Kanyakumari district of Tamilnadu. This shows that the Hindu society in general was always responsive to such challenges. This period witnessed the birth of bhakti movement in Kerala as a response to the external threat posed by the aggressive Christian faith. It was a popular movement and it reached at the grass-root level of the Hindu society. Tunjath Ezhuthachan [father of Malayalam language], Melpattur Naryana Bhattatiri, Puntanam Nambootiri, etc were pioneering this movement. Usually, while writing the national history, the historians do not properly account for this vital characteristic of the Hindu society. The mission pioneered by [St.] Francis Xavier continued without let-up throughout the Dutch and the British regimes, and this completed the circle of Christianization of the Konkan/Malabar Coast. The mission was carried on by the British under the disguise of more sophisticated modes of education, allopathic medicine, women education and modernization [Western modernity] of Indians in general and subalterns in particular. The missionaries sowed the tenets of Jesus amongst the lower classes, but conveniently evaded the responsibility of elevating them from their long-established socio-cultural and economic backwardness remained as paradox. In the proselytism perspective one hundred and ninety years British presence in India was a passing episode except in the case of Kerala and Nagaland. In the post independence period proselytizing agencies by taking advantage of the weakness of the administration began to engage in aggressive conversions. Missionary urge for Christianization of India was fermented in England long before the 1813 Charter Act [This act legitimized missionary activities in India]. In 1793 William Carey reached in Bengal, at Serampore, with missionary spirit without proper permission from the Company. Originally he was a cobbler by profession and turned out to be a Baptist missionary and became instrumental to the general missionary spirit that prevailed over England during this period. Thus he laid the foundations of English education and Bengali prose tradition. It was the commencement of Indian vernacular prose tradition that was a necessary condition to the popularization of the Bible to the Hindu race. All intellectual movements in the subsequent period of Bengal were considerably influenced by the western ideas and Serampore model. The process of evangelization of Bengal was not extinguished with William Carey but it poured inspiration to several others like David Hare, Ward, Marshman, etc. In the case of Kerala, particularly of the princely state of Travancore the missionaries had spent their time and energy in establishing parochial schools in order to spread the gospels and popularize western ways of life through the language of common man at every nook and corner of the society. If truth were told, they hoped the total conversion of the land into the western ways of life and the attainment of maximum souls for the Kingdom of God. Since the early agents of modern education were the Protestant Missionaries, literacy mission and evangelical missions were one and the same. To reflect the tenets - 16 -


of Christ in more refined, impressive and simple vocabulary was the first and foremost object of the missionaries here. Thus the missionaries started the work of improving the prose literature of the vernacular. Rt. Rev. Richard Congreve, Bishop of Oxford, commented that the God has entrusted India to English to hold it for Him, and we have no right to give it up. With this conviction they strived for the establishment of Kingdom of God in pagan land for over two hundred years. During the British period “much of the educational field was in the hands of Christian missionaries whose ultimate aim obviously was not to strengthen the Hindu race but to convert their pupils to a superior religion, Christianity”. Missionaries were able to transplant a conceptual framework of modernity to a land where universal toleration was the order. All the above stated are the strategies of the yester years. Now they moved further more with new vision and mission. Their mission always is the spread of Christianity and their vision is helping the same. They are now under the guise of service, charity or whatever colour they want to misguide others. Earlier they want to carve out full Christians from the Hindu fabric. Now they are in search of crypto Christians. Crypto Christians are no doubt Christians although they are in Hindu names and costumes but in faith, rationality, ways of life and behaviors are not much different from other traditional Christians. No doubt most of the prominent Marxists now in Hindu names are, beyond doubt proved their commitment to Christianity/Christian ways of life. The international Christian community is looking for such 30, 000,000 Christian from the Hindu social fabric by about 2025 CE [World Christian Cyclopedia, OUP, New York, 2001, pp 359 – 370]. At present, World Christian Encyclopedia claims that, India has 21,500,000 crypto Christians. Similarly they are waiting to spread their wings over the unorganized Hindu society and going to carve out 68,200,000 true/direct Christians during 2025 CE. They claim that since 1900 onwards they were able to convert 4,38,285 per year to Christianity[Ibid]. Let us quote Christian Encyclopedia, “Christians and Muslims will probably both find room to grow in the mosaic of India‟s peoples so that they by 2025 Christians account for 7.4% and Muslims 12.2% while Hindus decline to under 73% (down from 80% in 1900). With sustained growth over the next few decades Christianity could grow to near 10% of Indian population by AD 2025. …………. . Hindus will potentially decline as a percentage of India‟s population as other religions continue to win adherents over the next few decades” [op cit, p 366]. The deliberate attempt from the part of organized religion can attain the above said target very easily. But all the gains of the organized religions will ultimately result in the death of Hindu culture and civilization. History tells us the story of the decline of great civilizations like Greek, Roman; etc all which lost its splendid culture on the onslaughts of Christianity like Semitic religions. In the light of World Christian Cyclopedia‟s disclosure a panoramic look into the present day Christian population distribution under various church orders in India. Church in India is adopting the third rate stratagem of spreading derogatory and misleading facts on Hindu Gods like Tirupathi Balaji, Guruvyoorappan, Sabarimala Dharma Shasta, etc and clairvoyants like Mata Amruthandamai, Sree Satyasai, Sree Sree Ravisankar, Mata Vaishno Devi, etc for marketing the tenets of Jesus in India. Another insulting step that pursued from the missionary interest in India was the recasting of the traditional Hindu symbols to suit the Church‟s purpose of conversion. Hence some section of missionaries from the days of Robert De' Nobili are striving to prove that Jesus‟ arrival was prophesied in Vedas and there by Hindus should convert to Christianity. De' Nobili, was an early seventeenth century Catholic Missionary of India, who lived in the attire of a Hindu hermit and established a monastery in Madurai to convert Brahmins. He attempted to place Christianity within the Vedic tradition which would appeal to the upper jatis [elites]. By following the same path of the Christian propagandists Jihadist Islam is also trying hard to plant their Allah and Muhammad into Vedas. From the closing decades of the nineteenth century, the colonial political interest in the North East, in the seven Sister States, amongst the Khasis, Mizos and Naga tribes, acquired Christian missionary clad. Before the patriotism of the tribes British military might miserably failed. Thus they found quinine for quenching their patriotic fever. Hence the mission of conversion achieved what the military might failed to attain. It is interesting to examine the demographic evolution of North East. Ao, Sema, Angami are the main tribes of Nagaland. In 1872 Rev. E.W. Clark, an American Baptist Missionary, reached the hills accompanied by an Assamese Christian who had learned the Ao language and through whom he began preaching in Ao villages. In the Ao‟s language the word God in the Bible was translated by using the Ao concept of tsungrem or spirit. But the early response of the tribal land was not positive. In 1881 Naga population was 94,380 and a decadal hard work they got only three Naga souls. Thus the strategy of Quinine tablets [medicine for malaria] and Bible together systematically operated in the North East in the next century. In the World War I Nagas were recruited to the Labour Corps and sent to France. Their return to home land after War helped missionaries task much easier than before. [Puthavail. T. Encouraged by Clark‟s success, the American Baptist Mission Board sent out three more missionaries during the final decades of the century. The Impur Mission corresponded to a more systematic and simplified effort to renovate Naga culture. The Kohima Mission established in 1878 by C. D. King in the heart of the Angami country. Until in 1954, when the Government of India expels all foreign missionaries from India, these two stations remained as the center of American missionary operation in the North East. If this is the ongoing pattern of population clock‟s movement what will be the final data of 2011? Wait and see. Another noticeable aspect of the mass conversion is that when population equilibrium began to favourable to Abrahamic religions the national character and patriotism of the converts in the second and subsequent generations should automatically subjecting to deterioration. Our history says so. The lessons from Kashmir to Nagaland, all teach us the same lessons. In all the states of India Hindu population is alarmingly declining. Now the growth of Muslim and Christian population is at a distressing speed. What happened to the demographic graph of our country in half a century? See the following chart. Proselytism through coercion, allurement and other despicable means is unpretentiously going on in India under sanctifying of vote-bank politics and allied minority appeasement. The Census of India is not reflects Christian population. It is because of the reason that SCs conversion to non-Indian religion results in the packed down off their SC status and hence sheds all related privileges falls under the statutory concessions. Thus their conversion is a masqueraded transaction. For instance, on 26th July 2010 Kerala High Court disqualified Kodikunnil Suresh, MP, and second generations‟ Christian convert, who represents SC reserved Parliamentary constituency of Kerala for five terms [1989, 1991, 1996, 1999 and 2009], for producing a fake Scheduled Caste Certificate. Similarly several such fake SCs reached several highest positions of government of India through such fake transaction in the recent past. Therefore the periodic Census of India is not at all indicator to the Indian Christian population. On the other hand STs even after their conversion they can retain their Tribe status. Thus Sachar Committee [2006] in its report highlights that the 9% of the Christians are hailing from SCs and 32.8% from STs. In the light of the above verdict let us examine the strategic move of the Church in India. On 6th of November 1999 Pope John Paul II in his sermon at the Sacred Heart Cathedral of New Delhi, openly stated, “Just as in the first millennium the Cross was planted on the soil of Europe, and in the second on that of the Americas and Africa, we can pray that in the Third Christian Millennium a great harvest of faith will be reaped in this vast and vital continent [Asia]”. We should take this call on its face value as the Pope is the head of a big Christian faction. No doubt this call was an open challenge upon the sovereignty of a democratic country and its people, while considering the political statuesque of the Pope, i.e., the head of another sovereign country [even though the area is below 250 acres], the Vatican City. No doubt it was part of a conspiracy going on in the Christendom all over. On the basis of the sermon of Pope, we should see the American presidents George Bush‟s Asian Christianization project worth one thousand billion dollars and Pontiff‟s arbitrarily declaration of Malayatoor as a pilgrim centre of the Catholics all over.

The Christian encounter is much differed from that of the Islam. Islam used sword to annihilate Hindus. But the church used education for the attainment of same goal. In Macaulay‟s own opinion, “to create a class of persons who would be Indians in blood and colour but in English in taste, in opinion, in morals and in intellect”. During the British period “much of the educational field was in the hands of Christian missionaries whose ultimate aim obviously was not to strengthen the Hindu race but to convert their pupils to a superior religion, Christianity” [Peter Van Der Veer, Imperial Encounters, religion and modernity in India and Britain, Delhi, 2001, p 98]. The native attempt to neutralize missionary effect resulted in the establishment of indigenously managed schools. But they also followed the colonial curriculum and shared the protestant views of education lavishly. It is easy to make a Hindu a non-committed Hindu through this schooling. All the Missionary enterprises through ages moved in this direction. Educational vision of the missionaries in pagan lands not only confined to modernization of its social fabric but to “get acquainted with the person of Jesus Christ and His Gospel” by the youths outside the Christian faith. [“Education is an integral part of our mission to proclaim the Good News to every creature”. See: C.M.I Vision of Education, A policy statement published by Carmelite of Mary Immaculate, for private circulation, Cochin, 1991, pp 1, 6]. In short the obsessive eyes of the missionaries are always in search of the weaker aspects of the targeted society and people. This is an observable fact that operates from the first century to the present day with some morphological difference only. No doubt time has proved that even any small change in the demographic pattern will be a threat to our national integrity. But what happened in the year 1947? The number of Muslim population in India in 1901 was 2,91,02,000, but thereafter in 1941 this population got a growth of 68.24 percent and reached it at 4,26,45,000. So they demanded an exclusive state for the Muslims. In 1940s Muslims has only 13.380 percent share in the Indian population but it proved that it was sufficient to demand a separate state for them. Regions like the Northeast secured an upper hand to the Christian population in the 1960s, hence demands their separation. Likewise any slight regional imbalance due to the changes in the religious equilibrium will ultimately drove the nails to the coffin of the Hindu India. Several patriots with firm determination posed resistance to the missionary enterprises of North East. Among the most celebrated one is Rani Gaidinliu. She was born on 26th January 1915, Lungkao village, Tamenglong district, of Manipur. Started fight against the British in 1932. British identified her as the “the terror of northeast”. She underwent imprisonment from 1934 to 1948. She was honored by the govt. of India. In 1972 conferred Freedom Fighter Tamraptra Award, Pdma Bhushan in 1982, in 1983 Vivekananda Seva Samman, in 1996 Birsa Munda Award [posthumous].

Several states in India at the time of its independence had no Christian population. By taking advantage of the weakness of the administration the missionaries carved out a sizable population out of the Hindu social fabric. Application of coercion, allurement and other stealthy methods of missionaries is not at all a secret. The result is that in all the states, except Goa and Punjab, the proportion of Hindus is declining. In Mizoram and Manipur the Hindu population, according to 2001 census was declined by 9.21 and 5.91 per cent respectively [i.e. negative growth rate].The state of Kerala is the main supplier of missionaries [male and female] all over India. Kerala is now functions as the hatchery - 21 -


of antinational enterprises. The particular socio-political situation of Kerala is favouring to ethnical cleansing. Behind the recent riots of Orissa the one could not deny the highhandedness Christian priests and nuns from Kerala. They distorted the basic issue relating to the assassination of Swami Lakshmananda. On August 23rd 2008 Swami Lakshmananda was assassinated by Christian-Naxals nexus in Kandhamal in Orissa. Police filed the charge sheet on 30th January 2009 before the Baliguda magistrate. All the seven accused are Christians. One among seven is a priest. His name is Rev. Vijayakumar Sana Seth. As in Kerala the Church in Orissa is trying to impoverish its tribes through evicting them from their parental lands through ulterior means. Let us make a birdâ€&#x;s-eye view of the turn of the recent turbulence in Orissa.

The major population of Kandhamal district of Orissa is the Kandha tribe. The name of the district also derived out of this tribeâ€&#x;s name. Kandha tribes are generally the followers of Hinduism. They follows the general Hindu attitude towards other faiths i.e., count all other religions equal to Hinduism. Socially, economically and politically the non-tribal Panna has an upper hand, and are mostly under the Christian fold. The region is also home to Maoists activities. From 2004 to 2008 they killed 3338 in India. Hindu nationalist organizations are the natural enemies of Maoists. Many local Kandhamal terrorists are belonging to the Panna Christians. The major Issues of Kandhamal is the forcible occupation of tribal land under the forged tribal certificates by Pannas. Thus the illegally building churches in the tribal land. Thus they engage in religious conversions and terrorist activities. This has also resulted in unrest and tensions in 1986, 1994 and 2001. Hence the much popularized Kandhamal riots of 2008. The most unfortunate event in the said riot was the alleged rape and assault of a nun belongs to the Baliguda Catholic Church. The Hindu reports that the said victim nun and the priest who is the only eye witness of the event miserably failed to identify the accused in the Test of Identification parade held at the Choudwar Jail. [The Hindu, Kochi, 1st August 2010]. The Church deliberately popularizing that Orissa is not a minority friendly state by highlighting one incident. Let us compare the data of Attacks over Christians in 2001 in Orissa with other major Christian dominated states: in Tamilnadu it was 62, in Kerala it was 55. But in Orissa such incidents was comparatively less and it was only 50. [Malayala Manorama, Kottayam, dtd. 29th August 2001, p 21]. Missionaries guided atrocities over Hindus is not properly debated in the present Indian civil society. The main reason is the Christian/secularist control over visual and print media. The other one is that the professional publicity wing of the Church which distort such incidents and making it in favour of them. No doubt the publicity wing outshines even Goebbels [Joseph Paul] Nazi Germany. J.C.Kumarappa, himself a good Indian Christian as well as a good Gandhian, once observed that Western Nations have four arms; the army, the navy, the air force and the Church. All first three missed its relevance in India like world. Now their last weapon is the Church. The same Missions which fought against slavery in India were the promoters of slavery in America and this contradiction of the Church still continues as a riddle. The West at any cost activates its conventional habit of exploiting the rest of the world. Bishop Tutu of South Africa once commented, “Before these Christian - 22 -


Missionaries landed in Africa, the Africans had their land with them, but not the bible. Now they have their bible with them, not their land”. It is appropriate to quote Dr. S. Radhakrishnan while concluding the nature of threat leveled against a natural civilization, the Hindu. “The intolerance of narrow monotheism is written in letters of blood across the history of man from the time when first the tribes of Israel burst into the land of Canaan. The worshippers of the one Jealous God are egged on to aggressive wars against people of alien cults. They invoke Divine Sanction for the cruelties inflicted on the conquered. The spirit of old Israel is inherited by Christianity and Islam. Wars of Religion which are the outcome of fanaticism that prompts and justifies the extermination of aliens of different creeds are practically unknown in Hindu India”.

Part III

Maoism is the old [Communist] wine in the new bottle [Both are targeting the disintegration of Mother India – contradiction only in means] Earlier we have seen the efforts of Islam to mount crescent over the horizon of Mother India and planting cross over the crown of Mother India by the Church. Similarly, long before our independence the communist movements in India strived to vivisect Mother India into 18 nationalities. When China invaded India in 1962 a good number of Communists functioned as traitors. Then the Messiah of Indian Communists, E. M. Sankaran Namboothirippad observed the Chinese aggression as follows: “The Chinese had entered territory that they thought was theirs and hence there was no question of aggression as far as they were concerned. At the same time, the Indians were defending territory that they considered theirs and so they were not committing aggression either. …..” [Quoted from, Comrade Mohit Sen, A Traveller and the Road – The Journey of an Indian Communist, by Rupa & Co, New Delhi, 2003. Then EMS was then the Secretary of CPI [M]. He made this comment in a press conference]. Martyrdom is an essential condition of the growth and survival of Semitic institutionalized ideologies, both spiritual as well as material. Thus Abrahamic religions and Communism everywhere is in search of martyrs for its footing and further advancement. While one peep into the history of Indian communism it is obvious that the present day clean non-violent Communist Parties now dreaming of parliamentary delights were the godfathers of violence. Then they propagated the ideology of People‟s war and power comes through barrel of guns. In order to capture political power they tested the same ideology in Theleungana of AP, Kayyur-Karivalloor-Morazha in Malabar, Punnappara-Wayalar in Travancore, Naxalbari in Bengal, etc. These are some instances the present day gentlemen centred Communist Parties‟ violence in the past. Through all these they secured sufficient numbers of martyrs. Now they are eager to run their party machinery for their parliamentary ends with the blood of the poor subaltern martyrs of the yester years. The frustrated elements who attest all the well declared policies of the early Communist movement left the cadre as a result of the parliamentary craze which contradicts the manifesto of the Communist movements from its very inception.

Since seventies of the last century these communist hard cores are in search of a shepherd. They made several attempts to unite. Charu Majumdar, Kanu Sanyal like prophets made futile attempts. In 2004 these splinter groups of communist recouped Muppala Lakshmana Rao alias Ganapathi. This time the political climate of India turned mature to the breeding of Maoists. First is the mercy killing of the lone Hindu kingdom, Nepal. The introvert political leadership of India deputed to Indian Communist Marxist Party leaders to empower the Maoists of Nepal as a gratitude to the support extended to then ruling [UPA] government. It was one another diplomatic blunder committed by the same political dynasty of India. First was the surrender Indian interest before China in the event of its occupation of Tibet. Subsequent was the incorporation of Article 370 and the Non Alignment. Indian initiative of Non Alignment Movement was then the fellowship of worldâ€&#x;s poorest, problematic and weakest countries. The butchering of the last Hindu kingdom in the world resulted in the opening of a free red-corridor through the heart of India to Bengal. Hence the Maoist threat is. At present India have 605 districts. Of this 83 districts in 9 states have been identified as the worst Maoist hit areas. Really Maoist/Naxal danger is very perceptible in 195 districts in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. In the entire Maoist affected areas in India are the centres of active Christian missionary work. On August 23rd 2008 Swami Lakshmananda was assassinated by Christian/Naxals in Khandamal in Orissa. From Khandamal to Kohima Christian missionary interest is very clear. Between 2000 and 2004 Maoists killed 1221 innocent

civilians in this red corridor. 50 killings was reported in 2000, in 2001 it was 100, in 2002 it was 140, in 2003 it was 451 and in 2004 it was 480. In 2003 Maoist attempted to the life of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu. [The New Indian Express, Kochi, 26 th June 2010 & 3rd July 2010]. Maoist attempt on the life of civilians is ever increasing. This number further alarmingly increased in five years between 2005 and 2010 May and reached into 10,268 civilian lives. The five years between 2005 and 2010 May Maoists claimed 10,268 civilian lives. 439 were killed by Maoists between January and May 2010 alone. On 6th of April 2010 in ambush Maoists at Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh caused the death of 76 CRPF Jawans. On 17th of May 2010 when a bus hit a landmine 50 km away from Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh resulted in the death of 31 including civilians and police officers. The road was thoroughly searched for mines, using metal detectors and sniffer dogs. The landmines were not located because the explosives were placed at least 7 to 8 feet below the ground. Maoists day after day is professionalizing in the field of war against the nation. No doubt, behind this advancement of the terrorists the Nepal and missionary factor is very clear. But those authorities who are responsible to defuse the threat against its citizensâ€&#x; looking as spectators in the gallery and blames saffron. The coldblooded killings of innocent villagers in the red-corridor of India are alarmingly very high. In 2005 Maoists killed 1952, in the next year it went up 1999 innocent souls, in 2007 the number of the victims of Maoist excess was 1737 and in 2008 it was 1769. - 24 -


In 2009 it was rose to 36% and reached 2372. In a short duration of five years Maoist sponsored terrorism had snatch off the life of 9829 innocent common man of Indian villages. The above data is pointing the fact that the intensity of Maoist extremism is the backlash of the political change in the lone Hindu kingdom. After Nepalâ€&#x;s shifting from monarchy to Communist or China directed regime the menace of Maoism got an unchecked entry into India. The sixty years of Nehruvian dynastic rule the socioeconomic condition of rural India is getting worse. So, one could not blindly blame the Maoist insurgency without accounting the dynastic responsibility. Now the condition of Mother India is not much different from Germany in the twenties of the last century. Above mentioned are the Maoist atrocities over innocent sons of Mother India. Let us see the destiny of our security personnel who are at the service of our brethren. It is the worst irony that the Human Rights Organizations [HRO] are closing their eyes before the Maoist coldblooded butchering of them. Most of the HROs in India are the paid employees of jihadist or Maoists. Here is the chronology of major attacks against Indian security personnel since 2005 by the Maoist rebels who launched their armed campaign in 1967. From 1967 to the political change in Nepal the task of terrorists is not at all entered in a dangerous zone. Chhattisgarh is the most affected state. The enhanced missionary activities and the failure of administrative machinery to solve the question poverty of are the main reasons behind the current sad state of affair of Chhattisgarh. Let us see some of the major Maoist terrorist attack after the fall of Hindu Nepal. On 4 th September 2005 twenty-four paramilitary soldiers died in a blast triggered by suspected Maoists in Chhattisgarh. On 12th of the same month 15 villagers died of Maoists raid in Eastern Jharkhand. On October 8th 12 police men became the prey to Maoist brutality in Jharkhand. On February 6th of 2006 Chhattisgarh witnessed the death of eleven security personnel at the hands of Maoists. On 25th March the same State witnessed another massacre of 25 security persons by hitting their vehicle on a landmine planted by Maoist rebels. On 29th of April Maoists kidnapped fifteen persons and later found their dead bodies in the forest of Chhattisgarh. In the same year on February 28th in Madhya Pradesh Maoist through an ambush killed 25 security personals. Fourteen Indian paramilitary soldiers died in landmine blast of the Maoists in Jharkhand on 2nd December. On March 15th of 2007 Maoist exterminated 55 policemen in Chhattisgarh. On 10 th July in another encounter 24 Indian troopers were killed in Chhattisgarh. Again this state witnessed the killing of 12 paramilitary personals on October 20 of 2008. June 29th of the same year Orissa witnessed tragic death of 38 security personnel at the hands of Maoists. 16th of the next month Orissa witnessed another tragic death 21 police commandos when their vehicle hit a landmine planted by the Maoist. 30th August Jharkhand witnessed another landmine blast which caused the death of 12 policemen. In 2009 the danger of Maoism advanced towards western Maharashtra. Nineteenth century onwards this state was under the threat of Jihadists. Maoists gunned down 15 police personals on 1st February. Again in the same year on 8th of October Maoists butchered 17 policemen in Maharashtra. In three separate incidents of 11th April, 20th June and 12th July 51 policemen sacrificed their life for the longevity of Mother India in Chhattisgarh state. in Chhattisgarh. 35 policemen sacrificed their life for the cause of our integrity [for our akhadatha] in West Bengal and Orissa in the first four months of 2010. In a short span of five years 481 security persons sacrificed their life before the brutality of Maoists in the red-corridor of India.

Conclusion The mischievous designs of Muslim-Missionary-Maoist are in uninterrupted operation all over India. So, one could not give a full stop in penning the chronology of the brutality of the terrorists in the Indian villages. But I am forced to do so. The emerging ChristianIslam-Maoist unholy nexus in India is not at all a secret. Swami Lakshmananda‟s assassination and the fundamentalist Islamic patronages received by the Maoist in Kerala are the recent distrustful developments. The evolution of the recent unholy friendship between the fundamentalist Islam and the Catholic Church of Kerala are pointers to the said twist. Jihadist Islam and Catholic Church of Kerala are in secret understanding. It is mainly targeted to keep minority religious interest through the Congress commanded UDF political framework. Muslim League divided India in 1947. It is the notorious irony of the affair that the same Muslim League shared the political power of India in 2004 and 2009 governments. The backseat rider of the both regime is an Italian Catholic. Thus the latest developments in the Catholic Church are the part of an all India conspiracy masterminded under the empress without crown. When Kerala Catholic-Church-run news paper “Deepika” was at the brim of bankruptcy, fundamentalist Islamic forces arrived at its rescue. Furthermore the professor who subjected to the Sha.ri.‘ah administration of justice in Kerala was removed from the service by the Church in order to strengthen newly sprouting understanding between Church and Jihadists to destabilize Hinduism from Mother India. By this new turn Church has introduced a new precedent to justify the spirit of Mosaic administration of justice by leaving the destiny of the victim professor at the mercy of Islamic Jihadists as it is practiced right now by some Islamic countries. Unfortunately the divided Hindus in states like Kerala are not well aware of the tragedy that waiting at the doorstep of Mother India. The destiny of future India resides at the hands of Hindus, the only oldest and youthful ethnicity. But the Hindus are not well aware of the potential danger in the political gambling ushered in by Nehruvian tradition. Greek, Persian, Egyptian, Roman, etc like civilization lost their identity and finally perished. It was due to unchecked growth of Semitic traditions in said pagan lands. Previous millenniums witnessed the collapse of all pagan ethnicity other than the Hindu. Mother India survived only of its innate spiritualism under the stewardship of seer‟s tradition. The present challenge to Mother India is different from the earlier. It is multifaceted and strategic. Non-violence of Gandhiji or ancient Kshatriya spirit alone is futile in this critical juncture of cataclysm. Hindu as a race, nation, religion and culture should awake and prepare strategies at short-term level and long-term basis to counter the challenges - 26 -
