WORLD SHOULD WAKE UP TO GLOBAL JIHAD Anandshankar Pandya According to Times of India ‘’The Iraqi ambassador to US has issued a desperate plea for international assistance to deal with the rise of extremists across his country, warning that a failure to do so will lead to the emergence of a ‘’thousand Osama bin Ladens’’. He said he wants to issue ‘’an SOS not just for us but for the whole globe’’. The comments came as ISI S militants with a budget of billions of dollars over ran Iraq, mercilessly massacaring hundreds of innocent people. These militants are suspected to abduct 40 Indian project workers in Iraqi city creating great tension in India. At the same time in Pakistan Taliban on Monday warned all international organizations and individuals to leave the country or face violence as it was in a ‘’state of war’’. Times of India further reported that ‘’Dozens of extremists’’ attacked a Kenyan coastal town killing 48 people who were not Muslims and did not know Somali language. There are many such instances. What clearly emerges here is the unmistakable goal of Wahabi and Salafi Islam fed on Saudi money to establish Islamic rule over the entire world. This is an approaching global conflict in which all civilized nations like India, Europe and America will be pitted against an uncompromising and violent ideology, whose very purpose of existence is the end of human freedom, peace, security and civilization as perfectly predicted long back by Hutington in his ‘clash of civilizations.’ The Jihadi attacks are coming at regular intervals without any reason because big nations do not show any determination to eliminate it from the roots. America says it will not give any military help to Iraq against terrorists because it is its internal matter. Unfortunately America always helped Pakistan with arms and money which it used for strengthening its base of global terrorism. America even blamed Shri Narendra Modi for 2002 riot in Gujarat with ban on his visa. All this was done to appease the militants resulting in boosting their morale.
