It’s now November, the month when we usually change to night bowls. As no date to change has been decided, day bowls will continue as normal on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. At the next meeting we will discuss growing pelargoniums. As this is our final meeting for 2018, we will have a touch of Christmas for our afternoon tea. Our bi-monthly meetings will resume in February.

FISH ‘N’ CHIPS ON STRATTON Wow! What a great way to celebrate the ‘Eagles’ winning the Premiership and what a great win for WA. ‘Fancy That’ entertained us and everyone was in good spirits. Our entertainment for Friday 2nd November is Cathy & Catherine from 7th Heaven. Our theme for the day will be the Melbourne Cup. Don’t’ miss this one! We had our usual Raffles consisting of two lovely hampers made up by Rita in Waminda and our draw for two free lunches. Congratulations to all our winners. The choir has participated in a workshop with Raylene, a musical director who has her own choir. Everyone has agreed this was a worthwhile venture.
